Couple finds a kitten in the bushes and takes her to live on their sailboat — and now her favorite activity is so sweet

00:00There was a kitten in the bushes behind this house.

00:05We live on the boat full-time and we'd been wanting a kitten for a really long time.

00:10She was curious and was interested in meeting us, so that seemed like the perfect opportunity to bring a kitten on board.

00:19Hello baby!

00:23You got a new house!

00:25And brought her into the cabin where we sleep to get acclimated.

00:29We weren't sure what life on a boat would be like with her.

00:32So, how did everything turn out?

00:42So what does a day in the life of a boat cat look like?

00:45I'll be woken up by her in my face, trying to snuggle in the morning.

00:50And then when she's like, alright mom, I'm hungry, it's time to go, I get out of bed.

00:54Would you like to have something to eat?

00:57Good girl!

00:59Want to go outside? Come on!

01:01I come and open up the boat and she typically likes to jump outside first thing

01:06and just check out what other boats are in the anchorage to see what's going on.

01:13If we're going to go sailing, me and Leo will get the boat ready to do that while she's playing around.

01:19Pick out the zoomies, go get them!

01:21Get them out, get them out while you can!

01:25And we'll get her harness on to make sure she's safe for the sailing journey.

01:36Typically when we're sailing, she just wants to sleep the whole time.

01:42Music's blasting, we're talking, sails are flapping, no matter what's going on she's passed out in the middle.

01:48It's so funny.

01:55The only thing that will stop her from napping is we stop in really beautiful anchorages.

02:02We just started bringing her to these beaches.

02:04She loves to climb some trees.

02:10But I think at the end of the day, she's like, come on guys, let's get back on the boat.

02:22Ever since she joined us on board, she's just been like a constant ray of sunshine for us.

02:28Seeing her snuggle up to us at night or I wake up and the three of us are spooning in bed,

02:33I just think she was in a bush and now she gets to snuggle in a bed with us.

02:41I'm really grateful that we could take at least one Greek cat into a nice warm home

02:47and give her some safety and love.
