00:00Muhammad al-Rabbi al-Ghani has spent years mastering the art of clowning, making it his

00:12life's work to spread joy.

00:22His foray into this world of laughter began in 2008 and was filled with challenges and

00:28triumphs.

00:29Indeed, being a clown isn't a typical career choice, but it became a calling beyond mere

00:36entertainment for this father of two.

00:59Muhammad learnt the ropes by joining a troupe run by his high school friends.

01:04His first big break came at a festival in 2008, where he delighted children with balloon

01:10swords.

01:11But eventually, with gigs being hard to come by, his wife Salina Aziz convinced him to

01:17branch out on his own.

01:19She has been the backbone of Muhammad's career, from making his costumes to managing bookings.

01:46Together they have built a thriving business that offers clown performances and add-ons

01:52such as games, face painting and snacks.

01:55It's a family effort, with even their children pitching creative ideas.

02:17And while many initially doubted his career path, Salina has remained confident in her

02:22husband.

02:31Muhammad continues to improve his craft, for instance by learning magic to spice up his

02:37act.

02:38And although the world of clowning isn't without competition, he remains undeterred.
