00:00And now, let's talk about the latest programs of the current administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
00:14Here in Mr. President on the Go.
00:16Yes, ladies and gentlemen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
00:20initiated the Integrated Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation Project Stage 1 or IDRRCCA-1 in Pampanga.
00:31President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. initiated this IDRRCCA-1 yesterday.
00:39This project is an infrastructure flagship project that will advance disaster resilience in the province of Pampanga.
00:48The project aims to increase the capacity of the Third River, Eastern Branch River, Caduang-Tete River, and Sapang-Maragul River.
00:58Through this project, the flow of floodwater will be accelerated in some municipalities in Pampanga.
01:06It is expected that this will lower the flood level and duration from 66 days to 17 days in the municipalities of Macabebe, Masantol, Minalin, and Santo Tomas.
01:18President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. also thanked the South Korean government for their technical assistance to achieve this important project.
01:28The value of this project is expected at Php 7.57 billion, sourced from the Export-Import Bank of Korea Economic Development Cooperation Fund.
01:38But the President has a call, his call to the residents and even to the local government.
01:43Let's be united in fighting against flooding in the country.
01:47The problem in the house is not only due to the lack of infrastructure,
01:51we can also act as ordinary citizens if we are clean and responsible in our surroundings.
01:58This is a collective effort.
02:00There is infrastructure, but then again, we have to be responsible citizens to solve the problem of flooding.
02:07It is right to be disciplined in throwing garbage because it is the cause of flooding.
02:17With all the efforts, we will overcome this.
02:22In Pampanga, there are still some places that are still fixing their houses because they were still affected by the floods.
02:30Meanwhile, RSP, the Sovereign Guarantee for the Filipino Housing Program or 4PH Program has been approved by President R. Marcos Jr.
02:42The President has approved the Sovereign Guarantee for the Filipino Housing Program
02:48which is expected to be of great help in obtaining sufficient funds for the housing projects of the administration.
02:56The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino Acusar thanks President Marcos Jr.
03:04Because of the guarantee, the implementation of the 4PH Program will be faster
03:10because the confidence of the private sector partners in the program will be strengthened.
03:15Secretary Acusar called for the approval of this as a game changer
03:20because this will address the lack of housing in our country.
03:25The role of the private sector in housing projects is great.
03:28That is why it is important that they have strong confidence in the program because of the Sovereign Guarantee.
03:33Through the Sovereign Guarantee, the GFIS or Government Financing Institutions
03:38will be able to extend loans to the NHA or the National Housing Authority and to the SHFC
03:44to build a housing project that will have a government assurance
03:48that it will speed up the loan evaluation process and housing production.
03:53As of now, there are 1.2 million housing projects in the pipeline
03:56and the agency targets up to 3.2 million housing units by 2028.
04:02This is still a part of the administration's ambition in the new Philippines.
04:05Every Filipino family has a decent and affordable house.
04:11Many are asking how they can avail of a house like this from the government.
04:16We interviewed someone last Friday.
04:18You just need to approach the local government units if you are qualified to get this.
04:24Let's take advantage of this because, of course, from P3,500 to P5,000 a month in 30 years,
04:30you will have a house of your own.
04:32Once that house is turned over to you, of course, you will have to take care of that house.
04:39And that is the latest information about the programs of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
04:46Until the next episode of Mr. President on the Go!
05:00Go!
