00:05This is after the signing of the Implementing Rules and Regulations, or IRR, by Education Secretary Sani Angara.
00:14Under the Implementing Rules, qualified public school teachers will receive P5,000 for the school year 2024 to 2025.
00:24But it will be increased to P10,000 from the school year next year.
00:30The teaching allowance will be used for the purchase of supplies and materials of teachers
00:35for the implementation of various learning modalities and as payment for incidental or sudden expenses.
00:42Aside from the teachers, the allowance will also be received by guidance counselors, school librarians,
00:49vocational instructors, and all individuals who perform supervisory and administrative functions in all public schools.
