00:18and its civilian volunteer arm awards Anderson with a Search and Rescue Medal.
00:23The medal is given to individuals who voluntarily participated in saving lives in the face of
00:28great risk and sacrifice.
00:30Anderson helped rescue residents who were stranded in their homes in Barangay Santo
00:33Domingo, Quezon City.
00:35On July 25, he was recorded helping transport a family's child out of their home after
00:40they sought shelter in an elevated part of their house.
00:43PCG Spokesperson, CG Rear Admiral Armand Balilo also says the actor has always been active
00:48in humanitarian and disaster response operations.
