00:00Another thing that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam did is that Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, according to that hadith that is narrated by At-Tabarani, was sitting in the mosque and Umm Ayman, a woman, a well-known companion, came to Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and said,
00:19and said, Ya Rasulullah, Dalla al-Hasan wa al-Husayn, al-Hasan and al-Husayn are lost, are missing.
00:26And straight away Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ordered the companions to do a quick search for al-Hasan and al-Husayn, young children, and they are missing, and no adult is accompanying them.
00:39And Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam went himself searching for them as well, so he participated in the search campaign as if it were.
00:48And they went and found them in an isolated place, but they were terrified.
00:54And you know what happened? They got lost, and while they were lost, there was a huge snake that was just about to attack them.
01:06And imagine two children that are terrified, frightened, one is one year older than the other, I don't want to say twins, but they were extremely close to each other,
01:21and who knows, this closeness might have been built by the emotional training of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, they were hugging each other out of being terrified.
01:33And Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam straight away came, according to the hadith, I'm not bringing my own words, the snake began looking at Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
01:44and according to the narrator, I'm not putting my own words, it seems that a conversation,
02:08The snake looked at Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, talking to Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, or probably Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam was talking to the snake, and the snake straight away left.
02:20And Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam went to the terrified Al-Hassan and Al-Hussain, separated them apart, again wiping on their head, but now the context is different.
02:32The context is that he is wiping to comfort them out of fear.
02:37And then, this is another gist of the hadith, he carried one of them on one shoulder and carried the other on the other.
02:46If you at that time had a digital camera and took a photo of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and showed it years and years and years after that to Muslims living in London or Washington, people might say you are a liar.
03:02We would not expect Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam to do such a thing.
03:05That he is being surrounded by children or companions, a snake just ran away, and he, if you want, I don't want to give like a fire brigade, rescuing children from a burning building, holding those two grandsons of his, wiping on their head, and making this comment,
03:27بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي أَنتُمَا مَا أَكْرَمَكُمَا عَلَى اللَّهِ You are so dignified in the sight of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, I will do what I can to protect you and to help you.
03:42And then he carried one, as I said, on the left and one on the right.
03:46The point I'm trying to make is this carrying and this wiping at the moment of fear.
03:53So when you see your child doing something that might be wrong, but as a result he is terrified, don't reproach him here and then, but take him and embrace him.
04:05And they say that when a newborn baby has arrived into the family and there is an already jealous child, this child might beat the new baby.
04:16They say that the big mistake is to go and beat the one who is beating the new.
04:21Because he is doing this out of fear that you don't love him, you desert him anymore.
04:26So the way to deal with him is to give him more love, him or her, by embracing her and by kissing her.
04:32And forget about the crying baby, this is amazing, forget about the crying baby.
04:37At least make that girl or boy emotionally secure in time of terror and in time of worry and in time of fear.
