00:00So hello everyone welcome back to the channel web4click
00:04and today we are going to talk about multiple camera animation
00:08First of all, whenever we use an animation and if there are many characters in it
00:15then we cannot record the video of that animation with a single camera
00:20The reason for this is that we cannot move the single camera on different characters again and again
00:26To solve this problem, Blender gives us the freedom
00:30that we can use as many cameras as we want
00:35and we can link them in such a way that they will work like a single camera
00:41So let's see how to do multiple camera settings
00:44To explain multiple camera animation, I have made an example of a small animation for you
00:51which you can watch on my other channel Guddi Animation
00:55Right now we are making animation on a very basic level
00:58but gradually we will go to a very advanced level
01:01and according to that, I keep making small examples and uploading them
01:05You can also subscribe to Guddi Animation here
01:08so that you can see whatever video I make here
01:12So we have come back to our Blender screen
01:14Before explaining multiple camera animation
01:17First of all, I would like to tell you about some outliners here
01:21You can see that whatever I am going to add here
01:24all those things are shown in my outliner here
01:28and if your outliner is arranged properly here
01:31then you will not have any problem while working in long animation
01:36Here you can see that I have made a separate collection for the animation office
01:42I have kept the interior in a separate collection
01:45whatever things are inside the building
01:47and I have made a separate collection for the camera
01:50and here you can see that I have used 7 cameras
01:54How do all these 7 cameras work?
01:57I will tell you in the next video
02:00I have made a separate collection for the light and a separate collection for the character
02:03If you want to make a new collection in this
02:05you just have to right click on it
02:07and as soon as you click on new collection
02:09a new collection will be created here
02:11You can give any name to this
02:13whatever you want to keep here
02:15Whenever you want to add an object to this
02:17you just have to select it
02:19and if you want to add any object in your animation
02:22then it will be automatically added here
02:24But by chance, if by mistake
02:26your object is selected somewhere else
02:30then you can drag and drop it
02:32and put it on top of it
02:34and automatically my object will come inside it
02:37Now you will get two types of objects
02:39One object is those which are simply single objects
02:43and as you can see
02:45If I click on it, then my entire object will be selected
02:48and I can drag and drop it wherever I want
02:51Other objects are of different types
02:54as I show you here
02:56Whatever you download from outside
02:58there may be many small parts inside it
03:01which you can see here
03:03how many small parts are there
03:05The biggest problem with such models is
03:08if I try to drag and drop it somewhere
03:11then you will see that the parts inside it
03:13have come out
03:15The reason for this is
03:17as soon as I select it from above
03:21only the upper part will be selected
03:23and the small parts inside it
03:25are not selected
03:27So if you download anything from outside
03:30and there are many small parts inside it
03:32then always right click on it
03:34and click on select hierarchy
03:36then my object will be selected
03:38and now I can drag and drop it
03:40I can drag and drop it anywhere
03:42in my collection
03:44and I can move it anywhere
03:46So in this way
03:48you can manage your outliner
03:50If your outliner is managed properly
03:52then you can do animation
03:54very well
03:56Now as our class is on camera
03:58so first click on camera
04:00and you can see
04:02I have used 7 cameras here
04:04So let me show you
04:06how my camera is working
04:08First of all, the useless lines
04:10that you can see here
04:12if you want to remove them
04:14then you have to go to overlay
04:16and as soon as you click on extras
04:18all the camera and other things
04:20will be hidden here
04:22and as soon as you click on relationship lines
04:24all the extra lines will be hidden here
04:26and you will not have any problem
04:28in looking here
04:30So if I press 0 from starting
04:32and go to camera view
04:34and now I will play it here
04:36and as you can see
04:38the camera is changing automatically
04:40according to the scene
04:42Now how these 7 cameras are set
04:44I will explain you one by one
04:46in detail
04:48You can see
04:50how I have set the camera
04:52I will clear them from here
04:54and let's go to a new window
04:56So we are again on our blender screen
04:58and I have cleaned all the cameras
05:00here
05:02Now we will add the camera one by one
05:04and see how these multiple cameras
05:06work here
05:08Here you can see
05:10I have added 7 cameras
05:12and if I select the first camera
05:14and press 0
05:16then you can see
05:18this is the default view of my camera
05:20If I select any camera
05:22and try to see it
05:24then it will show the default view
05:26of my first camera
05:28but when we
05:30set it here
05:32then we can set this camera
05:34in different views
05:36How to set a single camera
05:38I have already told you
05:40in my last episode
05:42I will not tell you again and again
05:44So how to convert it
05:46in different views
05:48we will see it here
05:50To convert it in different views
05:52we will use our
05:54Timeliner here
05:56You can see our Timeliner
05:58I have enlarged it
06:00Now if I want to set
06:02the first camera here
06:04then I will see the scene
06:06where I have to set
06:08the first camera
06:10This is the outer portion of the room
06:12You can hide it by pressing H
06:14Basically you can hide it
06:16by pressing H
06:18but when you render it
06:20then you can see it here
06:22You can see if I render image
06:24then you can see the wall
06:26behind my character
06:28You can hide anything
06:30and do your work
06:32By chance if you want to hide
06:34anything in the render
06:36then you can click on the second camera
06:38you can click on the second camera
06:40and hide it by rendering
06:42So currently in my animation
06:44my characters are standing
06:46three characters behind
06:48I will show you
06:50I will hide it by pressing H
06:52Three characters will enter here
06:54one by one
06:56My father and son
06:58will enter here
07:00and after some time
07:02my second character
07:04will enter here
07:06I will play my animation
07:08The first thing
07:10I have to do is
07:12I have to lock the camera
07:14You can see
07:16how my father and son
07:18are entering here
07:20I will keep my cursor
07:22at zero
07:24I have to lock
07:26the characters
07:28who are entering here
07:30One thing you have to keep in mind
07:32whenever you set the camera
07:34which camera you are using
07:36it should be selected
07:38When we set multiple cameras
07:40If I am setting 7
07:42for 7
07:44but by mistake my 1
07:46gets selected
07:48then all the settings of 7
07:50will go to 1
07:52Whenever you
07:54set the camera
07:56it is very important to select it
07:58I have selected the first camera
08:00My first task is
08:02I have to set the first camera
08:04on my characters
08:06whenever they enter
08:08You can see
08:10there are many lines
08:12I will hide it
08:14First of all
08:16select your camera
08:18After that we have to go to timeline
08:20In timeline you will get
08:22a marker option
08:24As soon as you click on the marker
08:26you will get the first option
08:28which is add marker
08:30As soon as I click it
08:32you can see my marker is added
08:34I can select this small triangle
08:36As soon as I select it
08:38it will be highlighted in white color
08:40As soon as I click it again
08:42it will be highlighted
08:44in this position
08:46which means it is deselected
08:48and my triangle will be empty
08:50I will select it
08:52for now
08:54My marker is selected
08:56My first task is
08:58I have to select the marker
09:00and I have to set the position
09:02of my camera number 1
09:04How to set the camera number 1
09:06First of all you have to go to marker
09:08Here you will get an option
09:10bind camera to markers
09:12and the shortcut of this is
09:14CTRL B
09:16As soon as I click on it
09:18your camera should be selected
09:20and as soon as I click on
09:22bind camera to markers
09:24you will see camera number 1
09:26will be highlighted
09:28and my camera number 1 is set
09:30If you want to see the view
09:32you can see it by pressing 0
09:34I have already told you
09:36all the settings to adjust the camera
09:38in the last video
09:40I have to press V
09:42and as soon as it
09:44enters
09:46I have set the camera
09:48I have set the first camera
09:50Now I will press the space button
09:52and you will see how my characters
09:54are animated
09:56and come to the inside
09:58How are they animating
10:00and how are they talking
10:02we will know in the next video
10:04For now let's focus on the camera
10:06My character has entered here
10:08Now the second dialogue
10:10is my master's dialogue
10:12You can see the timeline here
10:14We can do it by pressing
10:16the scroll wheel of the mouse
10:18The first sound is
10:20the sound of opening the door
10:22After that when our character
10:24enters here
10:26Master says
10:28sit down
10:30This means that the second dialogue
10:32is my master's dialogue
10:34My characters have
10:36entered here
10:38Now my camera should go to master
10:40Now I have to set
10:42the second camera
10:44For that I will select camera number 2
10:46In the same way I will click
10:48on the marker and as soon as I click
10:50on the add marker
10:52you can see that my marker
10:54has been added
10:56Now I can set my second camera
10:58on this marker
11:00You can scroll and make it
11:02small or big so that
11:04you can see it clearly
11:06If I want to set the camera on this marker
11:08I don't have to do anything
11:10I have to go here
11:12and click on bind camera to markers
11:14as I will do
11:16Remember that your camera
11:18should be selected here
11:20If you set another camera by mistake
11:22then you can delete the marker
11:24from here
11:26You have to select it
11:28and as soon as you press the delete option
11:30you will see the option of delete marker
11:32As soon as I click on delete markers
11:34it will be deleted
11:36If I want to set camera number 2
11:38then my camera number 2 is set
11:40Now I will bring my camera number 2
11:42on this character
11:44by scrolling like this
11:46and I will set it with
11:48ctrl alt 0
11:50Now you can see that
11:52camera number 2 is set
11:54and we can select them
11:56by clicking on them
11:58If by chance you feel that
12:00the position of the camera is not correct
12:02then you can click on it
12:04and you can adjust it
12:06You don't have to worry about
12:08the scene behind the camera
12:10It can be arranged in any way
12:12Our main focus is
12:14that when we press 0
12:16what our camera is recording
12:18because that thing
12:20is going to be exported in our video
12:22So I will bring it back to 0
12:24You saw how my camera
12:26is set on the first camera
12:28and as soon as I
12:30press the space button
12:34Sit down
12:36You saw that
12:38automatically my camera number 2
12:40is moved
12:42Now my master dialogue is over
12:44and I want my third camera
12:46to be selected
12:48and when these people
12:50sit on this chair
12:52they will be set on this chair
12:54In the same way
12:56we have to set our third camera
12:58First we have to go to
13:00Outliner and select camera number 3
13:02After that
13:04the first thing we have to do
13:06is to add a marker
13:08You can see my new marker
13:10Now the camera number 3
13:12which I have selected
13:14I have to bind it
13:16and when I click on
13:18Bind Camera to Markers
13:20my third camera will be set
13:22Now what is the location
13:24of the third camera
13:26I can set it here
13:28I will keep it on this chair
13:30and when I press
13:32CTRL-ALT-0
13:34my camera will be set
13:36and for setting
13:38I will press V
13:40and with W and S
13:42I can arrange my camera
13:44and manage it
13:46Always when you
13:48set the camera
13:50go to Render and check the render view
13:52You can see that
13:54the camera is set inside the room
13:56So in this way
13:58my third camera is set
14:00If I bring it back to zero
14:02and press it
14:12You can see that
14:14all three cameras are working
14:16You can see that
14:18my characters are getting cut
14:20So I will press V
14:22and arrange the camera
14:24In this way my third camera
14:26is set
14:28Now let's see
14:30the dialogue
14:32Namaste Masterji
14:34The father says
14:36Namaste Masterji
14:38After the dialogue
14:40we have to move the camera
14:42to Masterji
14:44again
14:46Now
14:48the main thing
14:50which simplifies your work
14:52is that
14:54we have already set
14:56camera no. 2 on Masterji
14:58So we don't have to
15:00bring different cameras
15:02The camera which we
15:04set on Masterji
15:06we can move it
15:08with duplicate camera
15:10Let's see how
15:12First of all, the father's dialogue is completed
15:14and these sound effects
15:16I have adjusted
15:18with the dialogue
15:20So I don't have to do anything
15:22The three cameras
15:24which I have selected
15:26the middle camera
15:28I have selected on Masterji
15:30I will press Shift D
15:32One thing you have to remember
15:34never press Shift D
15:36on any other cursor
15:38Always when you are duplicating
15:40the cursor should be on this
15:42and as soon as I press Shift D
15:44it will duplicate
15:46and I will place it
15:48on the timeline
15:50So you will see
15:52that my camera will
15:54automatically move on Masterji
15:56So I will bring it back to zero
16:02Yes, please sit
16:08Namaste Masterji
16:10Oh, so you are
16:12the father of this talent
16:14So this way you have seen
16:16how easily I can
16:18bring my camera back to Masterji
16:20Now the next dialogue
16:22is my father's dialogue
16:24You have seen that I have set
16:26camera number 3 on my father
16:28I will press Shift D
16:30My cursor should be on this camera
16:32I will press Shift D
16:34and after duplicating it
16:36I will bring it back
16:38So it will come back
16:40on my father
16:42Oh, so you are the father
16:44of this talent
16:46Masterji
16:50So in this way
16:52we can bring our camera
16:54as far as we want
16:56and in the same way
16:58I have to bring it back
17:00on my master
17:02I will press Shift D
17:04on camera number 2
17:06and my camera will come back
17:08on this position
17:10on master
17:12Wow, what a talent
17:14So by duplicating any camera
17:16you can use it again
17:18or you can
17:20set a new camera
17:22on a new position
17:24Let me tell you one more thing
17:26Now you have seen
17:28that we have used camera animation
17:30but I want
17:32my camera to focus
17:34better
17:36So let's see how to do it
17:38For this I would like to show you
17:40that as soon as I have set camera number 2
17:42it is showing me this position
17:44but I want
17:46my next camera to
17:48animate it a little bit
17:50and move it
17:52So we can also use
17:54camera animation
17:56Let's see how
17:58First of all I will select this camera
18:00After that
18:02from where to where I have to keep that animation
18:04I will make a keyframe
18:06I will press I button for camera
18:08and on location rotation scale
18:10I have made a keyframe
18:12Now
18:14the keyframe of this camera
18:16I have to keep it from where to where
18:18For that I will press D button
18:20and in this way
18:22I will duplicate this keyframe
18:24So what will happen is
18:26I have made two keyframes
18:28This is my camera's current position
18:30and my camera will come back
18:32on current position
18:34and in between we will use
18:36some animation for camera
18:38Let's see
18:40So the first keyframe is of my current position
18:42I will move the timeline a little bit
18:44I will press V button
18:46and I will move the camera a little bit
18:48from W
18:50As soon as I click
18:52my camera's location has changed
18:54So I will make a new keyframe
18:56from I button
18:58Now the keyframe I have made
19:00I have to keep it from where to where
19:02I will press shift D button
19:04and I will arrange it from here to here
19:06Now you will see
19:08by playing it
19:14So in this way my camera
19:16is animating here
19:18and as soon as
19:20it will come on this keyframe
19:22after this last keyframe
19:24my camera's position
19:26will be same
19:28and when it will come on next camera
19:30then you will see
19:32how my camera will come back
19:34So because of this I have made
19:36two keyframes
19:38and I will end the last keyframe
19:40Now you have seen
19:42how my animation goes forward
19:44and if you want to show it
19:46backward then bring it inside the camera
19:48Now you can see
19:50the gap between camera no.2 and camera no.3
19:52if I bring this keyframe
19:54in between
19:56Now you can see
19:58the gap between camera no.2 and camera no.3
20:00Now you can see
20:02my camera comes here
20:04and my camera
20:06goes backward
20:08So in this way
20:10we can use camera animation
20:12in any camera
20:14So these things
20:16make camera setting
20:18very easy
20:20and you can use
20:22as many cameras as you want
20:24and always remember
20:26whenever you are binding
20:28camera on any marker
20:30camera should be selected
20:32which you want to bind
20:34Now its final output will be like this
20:54Now in this dialogue
20:56many people says
20:58all dialogues should be in one line
21:00only then you can use it
21:02So this is wrong
21:04We can use this dialogue
21:06in different ways
21:08and as you can see
21:10I have used many sound effects
21:12in this dialogue
21:14I will show you
21:16this sound effects
21:18So these sound effects
21:20you can arrange
21:22in this dialogue
21:24So how it is talking
21:26We will add audio in this
21:28in next video
21:30I hope you have understood
21:32the multiple camera animation
21:34in which we change camera
21:36on different characters
21:38So that's all for today
21:40See you in next video
21:42Till then Good Bye
