00:00Good evening. Clear skies tonight will make for good viewing conditions of the
00:03meteor shower. However before then there's still a risk of some thundery
00:07downpours across eastern areas of England after the rather unsettled day
00:11for some of us. But behind it it's going to turn much drier and clearer across
00:14the whole of the UK. So a clear night to come. There could be some low cloud
00:18lingering across the northwest by tomorrow morning and there will be some
00:22wet weather spreading in across Northern Ireland and western areas of Wales and
00:26England by tomorrow morning. But elsewhere a very dry night and as a
00:31result temperatures will fall a little lower quite widely compared to last
00:34night. Last night some places didn't get down below 20 degrees but tonight will
00:38be closer to the seasonal average 12 or 14 degrees for many towns and cities.
00:42Still across the southeast though holding on to that fairly humid air. And
00:46across the west when we do see this rain arriving the winds will pick up through
00:50tomorrow morning. So quite a breezy start to the day for Northern Ireland,
00:53western areas of England and Wales, northwest of Scotland as well where it
00:57will remain quite windy through a lot of the day. We could see gusts in
01:00excess of 40 miles per hour through Tuesday afternoon. Now there's a lot of
01:03cloud to come across much of Northern England, Wales, southwest England through
01:07the day. Some heavier outbursts of rain but in general just quite a lot of
01:11cloud around fairly overcast. In the southeast though still holding on to
01:15that sunshine and as a result temperatures still climbing up towards
01:18the high 20s. We could still see 29 degrees on Tuesday but quite widely it
01:23is going to be a cooler day tomorrow compared to today. These are the
01:27temperatures tomorrow compared to today's maximums. Where it's blue you can see it's a
01:31good 5 to 10 degrees cooler than Monday's maximum. So certainly a
01:35different feel on the way for tomorrow. But as I said still plenty of sunshine
01:39still lasting until the evening across eastern areas of England. But that will
01:42change through Tuesday night as the cloud and rain sinks into central and
01:46eastern areas of England and elsewhere. Northern Ireland, Scotland, North Wales,
01:50Northern England a much clearer and drier end to the night to start
01:54Wednesday morning. So temperatures here still a lot a fresher night. Could see
01:59some single figures across Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland. Fairly
02:02warm night though still fresher than tonight across the far south and east.
02:08Now on Wednesday morning this cloud and rain will likely linger through eastern
02:12and central areas of England. It could last through much of the day. Quite a
02:15different story though for more western areas. Wales, Northern England, Scotland.
02:19The odd shower possible but plenty of sunny spells. In the sunshine it will
02:23still feel fairly warm. We've got fairly light winds. Temperatures still climbing
02:26into the 20s. It's around average for the time of year. But once again wet and
02:31windy weather will spread in from the north and west through Wednesday evening.
02:35And that will make for a fairly wet day quite widely on Thursday. But if you'd
02:39like any more details on that why not check out our week ahead forecast on
02:43YouTube and I'll see you again soon. Bye bye.
