Istiqomah's murder: Police to submit investigation papers

The investigation papers on the brutal murder of teacher Istiqomah Ahmad Rozi, 33, will be submitted to the Deputy Public Prosecutor's office for further instructions.

Alor Gajah police chief Supt Ashari Abu Samah said the prosecution order is expected to be issued today or tomorrow, with the suspect likely to be charged by Monday (Aug 19) at the latest.

00:46Preliminary police investigations revealed that the suspect, a 37-year-old former teacher,
00:53and Istikoma had known each other since they were in a teacher's training college and had
00:58business dealings.

01:04been discarded in different locations by the suspect.
