00:00Pastor Apollo Quibuloy's camp fell when he read in the Senate the testimony of a woman he abused.

00:09The Senate also faced the support of a pastor whose wife was killed in a PNP raid in the compound of Quibuloy's group.

00:22It was heated between Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos and KOJC officials, or Kingdom of Jesus Christ of Pastor Apollo Quibuloy,

00:35when they heard in the Senate earlier.

00:37Quibuloy's lawyer read Abalos' testimony in the Senate of a woman he abused by the leader of KOJC.

02:05The Department of Justice opposed Quibuloy's claim

02:09that a reward of P10 million was illegal for the arrest of a religious leader.

02:15It is clear to our system that it is not prohibited.

02:19It is not prohibited for an accused to be searched.

02:23In the hearing, a supporter of Quibuloy was confronted

02:27that his loved ones lost their lives due to fear and trauma

02:31during the raid on the KOJC compound.

02:33My father died, my wife died.

02:36You are the one who caused the pain.

02:39Sir, that is just your job.

02:43But the PNP ground commanders argued that

02:46they did not use excessive force when the warrant of arrest was served.

02:51I don't think that the voice of these people represent the majority of the people.

02:57They are but a simple minority protecting a fugitive.

03:01This is the second hearing of the Senate on the use of excessive force by the PNP

03:06when the warrant of arrest was served against Pastor Apolo Quibuloy.

03:09The Senators will study if this is the last hearing

03:12or if they need to call for another hearing.
