Nanindigan ang DILG at PNP na hindi sila titigil sa paghuli kay Pastor Apollo Quiboloy sa kabila ng temporary protection order ng korte sa Davao City. Maghahain din daw ng motion for clarification ang kagawaran para linawin kung valid ang naturang utos at kung ano ang sakop nito.

00:25The DILG and PNP are adamant that they will not stop arresting Pastor Apollo Kimuloy

00:28The authorities will continue to look for Pastor Apollo Kimuloy

00:32in the compound of Kingdom of Jesus Christ in Davao City,

00:35according to DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos.

00:38It is clear that the temporary protection order, or TPO,

00:43issued by Davao City Regional Trial Court by Martes is valid.

00:46This is not a TRO. We are on a list.

00:48There is no order that we will stop the operation of arresting Kimuloy.

00:53Meaning, the PNP will continue to arrest and look for Pastor Kimuloy.

00:58That is important.

00:59In the court's temporary protection order,

01:01the PNP is saying that it will stop all operations

01:04that will be a threat to the safety and security of KOJC members.

01:08All barricades and barriers that will prevent them from leaving the compound

01:12will also be removed from the PNP.

01:15It is not allowed for us to be allowed to leave the compound

01:20and much more to stop the ongoing implementation of the TRO.

01:25That is the interpretation of the PNP.

01:28DILG Secretary Abalos is also questioning the TPO issued by Davao City RTC.

01:33The case of Kimuloy's child abuse has already been transferred to Quezon City

01:37so it is no longer in Davao City.

01:39Abalos questioned the Supreme Court's ruling that it has a petition on May 28, 2024.

01:44The court further directed judges in Davao City and in other stations in Mindanao

01:52where future, mind you, future related cases involving Kimuloy and his co-accused

01:59may be filed to motu proprio order the transmittal of the records

02:04to the office of the clerk of court of the RTC Quezon City

02:08and Metropolitan Trial Court Quezon City as the case may be.

02:12Kimuloy is also facing a separate case of human trafficking in Pasig RTC.

02:16According to Secretary Abalos, their legal team and the Solicitor General

02:20were on duty this morning to issue a motion for clarification.

02:25First, if the initial temporary protection order of Davao RTC is valid

02:30and second, if it is valid, what is the purpose of the TPO?

02:34Officials now believe that Kimuloy is hiding inside the KOJC compound,

02:39which may be one of the secret tunnels under the compound.

02:42That's what we're watching because based on our information,

02:47this tunnel will be hidden until its end. That's what we're watching.
