00:43This hadith is famous because it has been fiqh-ized.
00:47That we look at it only from the fiqh point of view.
00:50Yes, it's allowed to stand up for ulama out of respect,
00:53for the elders out of respect,
00:55or for someone that you love.
00:56And our Rasulullah ﷺ, it has been narrated that he stood for Fatima,
00:59fine, this is the fiqh.
01:01But where is the compassion?
01:02Where is the love?
01:03A prophet that receives revelation from Allah,
01:07standing for his daughter and kissing her.
01:10Not saying, you may kiss your father now.
01:13And he doesn't say sit on the floor
01:15because your respected father, he receives revelation.
01:18No.
01:19وَأَجْلَسَهَا مَكَانَهُ
01:20In the Arab culture, and I'm sure it's an Islamic courtesy as well,
01:24is that when you treat someone well,
01:26you make him sit in your place.
01:28Out of respect and out of showing love.
01:31You know what Rasulullah ﷺ is doing?
01:33Rasulullah ﷺ is fulfilling the girl.
01:37At an early stage, he's fulfilling the girl emotionally.
01:41So that the girl does not easily fall
01:45when there is a stupid guy
01:47waiting for her outside the school,
01:49tells her that you are beautiful.
01:52If a girl is coming from a house
01:54where she is only being beaten or insulted,
01:58or sweared at,
02:00or saying, may Allah curse the day that you were born,
02:03or, or, or.
02:05And the ugliest boy on this earth,
02:08come and says,
02:10I can't sleep the night without thinking about you.
02:12You are the most beautiful, even if she was like him.
02:15You are the most beautiful.
02:17But, are you going to kiss me?
02:19I have been kissed by my father.
02:21Are you going to say that you are beautiful?
02:23My mother already said it to me.
02:25Welcome home.

02:29Then Ali ibn Abi Talib marries Fatima,

02:40And this is a message to all the girls,
02:42and all the boys, and all the parents.
02:44Nothing is wrong with telling your daughter
02:47that she is beautiful,
02:48with spending some time with her,
02:51with cuddling her, with carrying her.
02:53Like any human being,
02:55they need their emotions to be filled.
02:58And then they go out to society,
03:00protected, vaccinated,
03:03against those wolves outside
03:05that just want to mess with girls.
