00:00So the future of Mesa is bright.
00:02It was 2019.
00:05Me and my business partner wanted to open in Denison
00:08and she found this unit.
00:11She really liked it.
00:12I lived in Denison since I moved to Glasgow,
00:14so I knew the area.
00:16And basically, yeah, we thought it was a good time
00:21to get a brunch spot in Denison.
00:23I come from Italy originally and I started cooking in there.
00:27And then when I moved to Glasgow, I kept working in restaurants and stuff.
00:31And my interest is Mediterranean, Italian food,
00:38but also maybe a little bit of Scottish food fusion.
00:43What we do here is basically brunch,
00:48not exclusive brunch.
00:51We do rolls as well.
00:54And we're also a sandwich shop.
00:59So yeah, we kind of evolved since we opened a bit.
01:02We're mainly brunch and now we do a lot of sandwiches.
01:05It's a mix of the two now.
01:08Future of Mesa, good question.
01:11We're currently selling.
01:13Nothing to do with the business.
01:14The business is doing great.
01:16We just needed a change in our lives and stuff.
01:23But we're still here.
01:26It hasn't sold yet.
01:29We're going to make sure whoever takes it is the right person.
01:35So the future of Mesa is bright because the place grew.
01:40Although it's been ups and downs because various factors like lockdown.
01:47We had to change a couple of things.
01:50The cost of living crisis definitely affected.
01:53We're selling, but we're making sure it's going to keep going as is.
01:59Good.
