00:00Shalom brothers and sisters, today I want to read a chapter out of Psalms for you.
00:08It's Psalms 91, just want to read this to you, like just a devotional, you know, uplift
00:14you, encourage you to keep the faith.
00:17All right, here we go.
00:20He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of
00:25the Almighty.
00:27I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my Elohim, in Him I will trust.
00:35Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.
00:43He shall cover thee with His feathers and under His wings shalt thou trust.
00:48His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
00:54Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flyeth by day,
01:01nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
01:08A thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not
01:15come near thee.
01:19Surely with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked, because
01:25thou hast made Yahweh, which is my refuge, even the Most High thy habitation.
01:34There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come near thy dwelling.
01:40For He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways.
01:46They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
01:53Now that's what the devil recited to Yeshua during the temptation, but Satan, he twisted,
02:02he distorted the meaning of the verses.
02:07Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder, the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample
02:13under feet.
02:16He that hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him.
02:21I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
02:26He shall call upon me, and I will answer him.
02:28I will be with him in trouble.
02:31I will deliver him and honor him.
02:35With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.
02:41So those are really comforting words to hear from our sovereign, our master, very, very
02:51enlightening.
02:52And in Psalms, like Proverbs, they got great advice, great quotes, great learning for us.
03:00You know, perhaps, you know, for me, it's two of my favorite Old Testament books.
03:05I mean, the other ones are great too, but they're all good and good in their own ways,
03:10their own different ways.
03:12They're all beneficial.
03:14And you know, I go through Psalms a lot, and even if I have troubles or something, I go
03:21through Psalms, Proverbs or whatever, if I have some kind of problem about something,
03:28it's kind of funny.
03:29I just, you know, start reading through Psalms, just pick a thing and I'm not kidding.
03:33It's answers are right there or something related to the topic.
03:37It might be, you know, troubling me or, you know, something that I've been thinking about,
03:42you know, and praying, praying for, you know, answers, guidance, wisdom or something.
03:47And in the Psalms, Psalms is the book to go to, you know, and Proverbs, of course.
03:55But I just wanted to do a devotional, you know, for you guys and please study your Bibles
03:59and you know, you know, Psalms and Proverbs and, you know, just check them out and keep
04:06studying your Bible, you know, and keep the prayers going.
04:10And with that said and done, I thank you again.
04:13And please like this video, watch my other ones, subscribe, hit that notification bell,
04:19comment below, give me a hallelujah or whatever.
