China fires flares at passing PH Cessna plane over West Philippine Sea

China launches flares from its militarized reclaimed island in Zamora Reef in the West Philippine Sea as the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) aircraft, a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, passes by the area during a Maritime Domain Awareness Flight it conducted on Aug 22, 2024.
