00:00Good evening. I'm Bret Baier. Breaking tonight, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is suspending his independent
00:05campaign for president, endorsing former President Donald Trump. It's a late-stage shake-up
00:10that could give the former president a modest boost from Kennedy's supporters, especially
00:15in those crucial swing states. Meanwhile, former President Trump is preparing to get
00:19the final word of the Democratic National Convention week. He will hold a campaign event
00:24in an hour in Battleground, Arizona, where a special guest is set to make an appearance.
00:29Fox Business correspondent Grady Trimble joins us now from Glendale. Good evening, Grady.
00:36Good evening, Bret. Tonight, a Kennedy is once again in a position to change the political
00:40landscape of this country. But this time, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is bucking the family
00:47dynasty and backing former President Trump.
00:52I no longer believe that I have a realistic path to electoral victory.
00:56With that, RFK Jr. is suspending his presidential campaign and endorsing Trump's, a move with
01:02the potential to shake up the November election.
01:05We just had a very nice endorsement from RFK Jr. That was very nice. That was really, that's
01:14big. He's a great guy, respected by everybody.
01:18Kennedy says he's staying on the ballot in most states, but he's removing himself from
01:22them in 10 battleground states that could pave the way to the White House. Making the
01:28announcement, Kennedy blasted the party that his family has helped lead for more than six
01:33decades.
01:34In the name of saving democracy, the Democratic Party set itself to dismantling it, lacking
01:40confidence in its candidate, that its candidate could win in a fair election at the voting
01:48booth.
01:49Once considered a spoiler candidate for entering the race, Kennedy could have the same effect
01:53by leaving it. At the peak of his candidacy, his support hit double digits, but his polling
01:59and fundraising numbers have since plunged.
02:01The Harris campaign reacting to Kennedy's decision in a statement today. Quote, for
02:06any American out there who's tired of Donald Trump and looking for a new way forward, ours
02:11is a campaign for you. Other Democrats are downplaying the effect on Harris's chances.
02:17I think it means less than I was worried about in the beginning. It looks like he's gone
02:22for the craziness on the right. But I think in the end, it will have very little impact.
02:29But a Trump campaign memo says this is good news for President Trump and his campaign,
02:33plain and simple.
02:36In a statement, four of RFK Jr.'s siblings called Kennedy's endorsement of Trump a betrayal
02:42and reiterate their support for Harris and Walz. Even if that endorsement doesn't turn
02:48out to be a huge factor on Election Day, at the very least, Brett, it steals headlines
02:53away from Vice President Harris after the biggest speech of her political career as
02:58we await the big surprise here.
03:01Brett.
03:02OK, Grady, thank you. Meantime, at least five Secret Service agents are no longer in the
03:07field after facing disciplinary action over the investigation of the assassination attempt
03:12on former President Trump. Correspondent David Spont has details tonight from Washington.
03:17Good evening, David.
03:18Hey, Brett. Good evening. They are placed on administrative duties and these five are
03:21working remotely, a source tells us. Four of them are from the Secret Service Pittsburgh
03:26field office near where the actual shooting took place, including the special agent in
03:31charge there. The other was an agent on former President Trump's personal protective detail.
03:36Someone brought that traveled with them all over the country. We're told these are the
03:39numbers as of Monday, a few days ago, and there are likely more, though those updated
03:44numbers have not yet been made available. The Secret Service declining to comment specifically
03:49on this. Again, this from a source familiar with the probe. In addition to the internal
03:53Secret Service probe, the FBI is conducting a parallel criminal investigation into the
03:58shooter and the overall security failure. It's possible, Brett, the Justice Department
04:02could file charges. But when asked today, Attorney General Merrick Garland did not give
04:06many details.
04:08There's a congressional task force on the same subject, and hopefully they and I know
04:14that they will provide lessons learned to prevent such a failure from happening in the
04:18future.
04:19Meanwhile, when Congress returns in just a few weeks, expect both Republicans and Democrats
04:24to continue holding the Secret Service accountable for what the director of that agency even
04:28admitted was a clear security failure. House Speaker Mike Johnson, in a statement just
04:32a few hours ago, said today's decision to place multiple agents on leave is the agency's
04:37first step toward accountability. But it comes 41 days after the attempt on President Trump's
04:42life, and it's nowhere near enough.
04:46Lawmakers will visit the site of the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Monday, Brett.
04:51And David Tepperley, you have some new figures from the man who wants to see the former president
04:55convicted in federal court. What are those?
04:58Exactly, Brett. The latest expenditures for special counsel Jack Smith's office were released
05:03just hours ago from October of last year through April of this year, more than $6 million.
05:09Since becoming special counsel in late 2022, Jack Smith has spent more than $19 million
05:15on two cases. One just went away for now. That's the Florida documents case. When the
05:19judge recently dismissed it, the other is the D.C. election interference case. It was
05:24supposed to go to trial in March of this year. The next court hearing in that case is September
05:295th, the first since a key Supreme Court ruling last month. Really, Brett, potentially limiting
05:35the scope of Smith's case. Back to you.
05:38OK, we'll follow it. David, thanks. The Federal Reserve is preparing to cut to start cutting
05:44its key interest rate from its current 23-year high. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell
05:49making that announcement today. That news sent stocks soaring. The Dow gained 462 today.
05:56The S&P 500 added 64. The Nasdaq jumped 258. For the week, the Dow was up one and a quarter
06:02percent. The S&P 500 added one and a half. The Nasdaq rose one and four tenths.
06:07Edward Lawrence of Fox Business is traveling with the Fed chair. He joins us from Jackson
06:11Hole, Wyoming, to try to unpack what all this means. Good evening, Edward.
06:17Good evening, Brett. Yeah, the Federal Reserve speech changed the direction of monetary policy
06:21in a way that the markets really like. The Fed chairman says that he sees inflation.
06:25He's confident that inflation is coming sustainably down to the target of 2 percent.
06:31The time has come for policy to adjust. The direction of travel is clear and the timing
06:37and pace of rate cuts will depend on incoming data, the evolving outlook and the balance
06:43of risks.
06:45So this sets up the first interest rate hike for September. Now, we asked the Atlanta Fed
06:49President Rafael Bostic, a voting member this year, how many cuts we could see.
06:54The last Federal Reserve projections were two rate cuts this year. Is that where you
06:58are still?
06:59Well, I was originally at one. And what I will say is it's the way the data has evolved.
07:05I think it's probably appropriate to pull that forward. Now, whether that is two, three,
07:11I don't know.
07:14So we left the door open for interest rate cuts at each of the three remaining meetings
07:18this year. Now, other Fed presidents have used words like slow and methodical, depending
07:22on the data. Any interest rate cuts would bring down mortgage rates or make auto loans
07:27less expensive.
07:28The Fed chairman says the inflation, as that risk fells, fells. The risk for the labor
07:33market has increased. Powell says that more people entering the workforce and companies
07:38limiting hiring caused the unemployment rate to jump to 4.3 percent. It wasn't layoffs.
07:42But the Philadelphia Federal Reserve president thinks that unemployment rate number will
07:46rise.
07:47I mean, it'll end somewhere below five for sure, in our view. But it'll tick up some.
07:52Back to what if you think back again before the pandemic hit, what was the natural rate
07:57that we thought existed to four and a half? Yeah, that's probably about right.
08:04And Federal Reserve members have not seen mass layoffs. If they do, that's something
08:08they'll be looking for as red flags over the next six months or so, because if the consumers
08:12start slowing spending, that could lead to a recession.

08:25While the tickets are officially punched now, the countdown is on to the 2024 presidential
08:29election. Vice President Kamala Harris looking to ride the Democratic convention momentum.
08:34But the real test is just beginning, as Harris has yet to outline detailed policies or hold
08:40an interview or news conference as of yet. Senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy
08:44joins us now from Chicago. Good evening, Peter.
08:49Good evening, Brett. Vice President Harris is trying to have it all. When talking about
08:53the ceasefire and hostage deal, she's a key part of the administration. When talking about
08:58the economy, she's got some different ideas than her current boss.
09:06As Vice President Harris returns to Washington, she's seeking distance from her own administration.
09:11A chance to chart a new way forward.
09:16And the outlines of a Harris economic platform are now visible.
09:20Lower the cost of everyday needs like health care and housing and groceries. And we will
09:27end America's housing shortage.
09:29The Harris plan includes a bill with tax credits aimed at getting construction companies to
09:33build three million new housing units and restrict the ways landlords can raise rent.
09:38She's talking about rent caps. This goes along the lines with food caps and government price
09:43controls. So we really oppose that.
09:45The Harris plan would also tax unrealized gains on some high net worth investors.
09:51Another situation I think won't happen. But the whole idea of taxing on unrealized gains,
09:59I mean, that's been tried so many times before in other countries. It doesn't work. Capital
10:04just leaves.
10:05According to Politico, officials with the top pro Harris super PAC said their polling
10:09is much less rosy than public surveys. Other Democratic pollsters noted that even if their
10:14polling is right, Trump still maintains a lot of advantages. During her first month
10:19as the Democrats candidate, Harris has focused more on biography than clarifying her record
10:25or her thoughts on news of the day.
10:27Will Kamala talk to the press? Will she do a press conference?
10:30Her team has pledged that she will sit for an interview by the end of this month, which
10:35is next Sunday. We asked the vice president about that as she left the stage last night.
10:41Madam Vice President, congratulations. Are you ready for your Fox News interview?
10:51This convention was the last big get together for Democrats from all around the country
10:56before the election. Now, activists and organizers have to figure out how to turn all of their
11:03excitement into excitement for battleground state voters. Brett.
11:10Peter Ducey live in Chicago. Peter, thanks. We still ask every day, by the way. We'll
11:14see what happens. A federal judge has thrown out some major felony charges against two
11:19former Louisville officers accused of falsifying a warrant that led to police fatally shooting
11:25a black woman in her home. In March 2020, while carrying out a drug warrant, police
11:30broke down the door of Breonna Taylor's home. Her boyfriend shot fired a shot that struck
11:36an officer, believing him to be an intruder. Officers returned fire, killing the 26 year
11:42old Taylor. The ruling declares the actions of Taylor's boyfriend were the legal cause
11:47of her death, not a bad warrant. Federal prosecutors have agreed to recommend a prison sentence
11:54of no more than 40 years for a former Memphis officer, a police officer who pleaded guilty
11:59to federal civil rights violations in the 2023 fatal beating of a black man. Emmett
12:04Martin is the second former officer to plead guilty in the killing of Tyree Nichols. Three
12:10former officers still face trial in federal court next month. Up next, new attempts to
12:15revive ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas amid violent incursions in Gaza. But
12:21first, here's what some of our Fox affiliates around the country are covering tonight. Fox
12:2525 in Boston as the judge overseeing the Karen Reid case denies her motion to dismiss two
12:30of the charges against her, including second degree murder, allowing prosecutors to bring
12:35all three charges at the retrial. The two month proceedings ended in a mistrial over
12:40a deadlocked jury. Reid was charged in the death of her Boston police officer boyfriend.
12:45She alleges she was framed by law enforcement and first responders. The prosecution argues
12:50Reid struck her boyfriend with her car while intoxicated. Fox 31 in Denver as two trains
12:57collide in Boulder, creating a messy scene that damaged a rail bridge and resulted in
13:02fuel spill. Police have yet to determine what led to the collision. Only minor injuries
13:07sustained there. And this is a live look at Kansas City from Fox 4, our affiliate there.
13:13One of the big stories there tonight, former Chiefs players Bouchard Breland and Taylor
13:18Stallworth are auctioning off the rings, each one in Super Bowl fifty four and fifty
13:24seven respectively. Venezuela's regime dominated Supreme Court is siding with President Nicolas
13:30Maduro, claiming he won last month's election and arguing that voting tallies published
13:35online showing Maduro lost by a landslide were fake. The ruling is the latest attempt
13:40by Maduro to blunt protests and international criticism that erupted after the contested
13:45July 28 vote. The main opposition coalition has accused Maduro of trying to steal the
13:51election. Ukraine's military says it used high precision guided bombs provided by the
13:58United States to carry out strikes in Russia's Kursk region. Officials also claim to have
14:04recaptured some territory in the eastern region of Kharkiv, where Russia launched an offensive
14:09in the spring. Ukraine's forces are gaining new momentum this month after delayed deliveries
14:13of U.S. weaponry were finally released. Today, Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced
14:19a new package of weapons and equipment will be heading to Ukraine. Israeli Prime Minister
14:23Benjamin Netanyahu says the delegation is in Egypt to resume efforts to salvage or try
14:29to salvage a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas. That is happening on the backdrop
14:35of new fighting in central Gaza. Correspondent Jeff Paul has both sides of the story from
14:39Tel Aviv. With the civilian death toll in Gaza rising and more than 100 hostages no
14:45closer to being freed, ending the war between Israel and Hamas now rests in Cairo, Egypt.
14:51After mediators from the U.S., Egypt and Qatar are trying to save a ceasefire deal, which
14:56took center stage on the final night of the DNC. With respect to the war in Gaza, President
15:04Biden and I are working around the clock because now is the time to get a hostage deal
15:11and a ceasefire deal done.
15:14The White House says progress has been made, but a hurdle centering around Israeli troop
15:19presence in two areas remains. The Netzerim Corridor, a critical crossing that separates
15:24travel between north and south Gaza and the Philadelphia Corridor along the Egypt Gaza
15:29border, which Israel says is a pathway for weapon smuggling. But Axios is reporting President
15:35Biden pressured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a Wednesday phone call to
15:40agree to pull troops back from the Egypt Gaza border so the deal can progress.
15:45Israel has accepted the bridging proposal. Now Hamas must do the same.
15:51And the clock is ticking as Iran and its proxies watch negotiations and way launching a retaliatory
15:57attack on Israel. The USS Abraham Lincoln is now in the Arabian Sea, bolstering U.S.
16:02Navy assets in the region. Should Israel need to be defended?
16:06We've moved capabilities into the region that I think it's fair to say have gotten into
16:10the headspace of Iran and will influence their calculation on how and if they choose to respond.
16:16And we are tracking some activity tonight in the north as Israel's Iron Dome intercepted
16:20multiple rockets that were fired from southern Lebanon. The actions not only add to the building
16:25tension in the region, but can complicate the ongoing and very delicate ceasefire negotiations.

16:37be awaiting the next president. Plus, all eyes are on Georgia ahead of the November
16:41election. We'll bring you their first beyond our borders tonight. Live look at Biarritz,
16:46France. One of the big stories there tonight. French President Emmanuel Macron kicks off
16:51talks with key political players in a bid to choose a new prime minister who would form
16:56a government and end the deadlock created by snap legislative elections last month.
17:02Members of the left wing New Popular Front coalition that won the most seats are pressuring
17:07Macron for a quick decision. According to the French Constitution, their president has
17:12sole power to name the prime minister. Just some of the other stories beyond our borders
17:17tonight. Passing policy items through Congress is no easy task for any president. And as
17:23Vice President Kamala Harris sets her sights on the White House, her agenda could face
17:28a cold reality. Senior congressional correspondent Chad Program explains from Capitol Hill.
17:35This was the easy part. And when Congress passes a bill to restore reproductive freedom
17:43as president of the United States, I will proudly sign it into law. But if elected,
17:48Harris only makes good on her lofty campaign rhetoric with help from Congress. We have
17:53to take the House. We have to take the Senate. That means winning every swing seat. And let's
17:58get it done. Democrats must flip a handful of districts to reclaim the House and maintain
18:04their slim Senate majority against a brutal electoral map favoring the GOP. Policy priorities
18:10crash in the Senate if you can't break a filibuster. Harris pledging action on the
18:14southern border. I will bring back the bipartisan border security bill that he killed, and I
18:19will sign it into law. But that plan died partly because of the filibuster. Republicans
18:25warned that Democrats might end the filibuster if they hold the Senate. Harris also promises
18:30tax relief. We will pass a middle class tax cut that will benefit more than 100 million
18:38Americans. But Republicans anticipate the opposite. If she gets in, it'll be a tax and
18:43spend. Harris claims a muscular foreign policy. I will not cozy up to tyrants and dictators
18:50like Kim Jong Un, who are rooting for Trump. But Republicans are skeptical. So she says
18:56that she's going to be tough on tyrants. But tyrants have been on the march. It is said
19:03that you campaign in poetry, but you govern in prose. And unless Democrats control Congress,
19:10the soaring promises ring hollow. Brett.
19:13Chad Pergram, live on the Hill. Chad, thanks. Democrats and Republicans are going all in
19:19on Georgia. President Biden, you may remember, won the state in 2020 by just over 11000 votes.
19:26Projections had Georgia leaning toward former President Donald Trump this cycle. But with
19:31Vice President Harris officially the party's nominee now, there is a revitalized focus
19:37on the swing state. Correspondent Jonathan Sarey shows us from Atlanta.
19:43Former President Trump appears to be making amends with Georgia's popular Republican Governor
19:47Brian Kemp, who has offered his political apparatus to the campaign.
19:52If we turn our people out and vote from the top of the ticket on down, we're going to
19:57put Georgia back in the red column for a presidential race, unlike we did in 2020.
20:02He said he wants Trump to win and he's going to work with me 100 percent.
20:06Those warm comments come less than three weeks after the former president attacked Kemp at
20:11a rally in Atlanta. You know, Fannie Willis is a good friend of your governor. You know
20:15that your governor? I'm not a fan of your governor.
20:20Some Georgia Republicans blame Mr. Trump's comments like that for losing both of the
20:24state's U.S. Senate seats to Democrats in 2020.
20:28Former Lieutenant Governor Jeff Duncan, who endorsed Kamala Harris at the Democratic National
20:32Convention, tells Atlanta Civic Circle the only thing that makes Georgia a swing state
20:37is Donald Trump. Every time he endorses somebody or he's involved in a race himself, it's either
20:43close or he loses.
20:45Lively roll call to its long list of prominent speakers. Georgia's high profile at the DNC
20:50reflects the party's renewed optimism. Emory political science professor Andra Gillespie
20:55says Kamala Harris's entry into the race has motivated many Georgia Democrats not just
21:01to vote, but to join the campaign.
21:03If she can sustain that interest in volunteering, they are going to register new voters and
21:08they're going to remind those voters to turn out to vote.
21:10According to the Fox News Power Rankings, Georgia leans Republican. But a New York Times
21:14Siena College poll taken just before the convention shows Harris narrowing Trump's lead in this
21:20state to within the margin of error.

21:24Jonathan, thanks. Sixteen Republican led states, including Georgia, are suing the Biden administration
21:30to block a controversial parole program that gives protection from deportation to illegal
21:35immigrants who are married to U.S. citizens.
21:38The so-called parole in place rule allows for humanitarian parole and a path to permanent
21:44residency for certain illegal immigrants, spouses of U.S. citizens without having them
21:49leave the country. The states argue the rule violates federal law. The Department of Homeland
21:54Security is promising to defend the policy in court.
21:57Up next, the panel on the Trump R.F.K. Jr. Alliance, plus Vice President Harris's night
22:03in the spotlight. But first, in honor of our stay in the Windy City for the DNC, it's time
22:09to relish the opportunity for a proper Chicago meal.

22:54In about 10 battleground states where my presence would be a spoiler, I'm going to remove my
23:01name and now to throw my support to President Trump.
23:07His supporters are independent minded people who value freedom, who are concerned about
23:13what President Biden and Vice President Harris have done to our country.
23:17It's small, but potentially significant. Think of 2020, Georgia, 12000 votes, Arizona, 10000
23:22votes. One point difference in places like that could potentially be enormous in a close
23:27race.
23:28Yeah, RFK Jr. suspending his campaign, pulling his name off the ballot in 10 swing states.
23:35If you look at the swing states and where he was polling, the key states, it's significant
23:41if you think about the difference in votes in some of these states over the past couple
23:47of cycles.
23:48In our Fox poll in a six way race, he is at six percent. You know, again, it can move
23:55the needle. Meantime, the Kennedy family reacting to this decision, our brother Bobby's decision
24:01to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold
24:06most dear. It is a sad ending to a sad story. How much of a difference does it make? Let's
24:13bring in our panel, syndicated radio host Hugh Hewitt, Leslie Marshall, Democratic strategist,
24:18Matthew Conetti, fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and Fox News media analyst, host
24:22of Fox's Media Buzz, Howard Kurtz.
24:24OK, Hugh, thoughts?
24:27Robert Kennedy Jr. endorsing Donald Trump is a big deal. And I don't care who says what
24:31about it. He had two to five percent in every battleground state. Most of that's going to
24:36go to Donald Trump, 60 to 75 percent of that. And as was noted, it was a forty four thousand
24:42vote election in 2020. So that is a very big deal.
24:47Leslie, shake things up.
24:52It does, but I wouldn't agree. That's it. I'll agree. It's a big deal. You I'll give
24:56you that. I don't think as big a deal, because when I just look at the numbers, RFK Jr.'s
25:00been coming down, down, down. Latest CBS polling shows support for him, like you said, around
25:04the low of two percent. I am concerned about states like Michigan and Wisconsin, where
25:08that benefits Trump. I think it actually benefits Vice President Harris in a state like
25:13Pennsylvania. I don't put a lot of weight in endorsements, but I have to say some of
25:18these people that are supporting RFK Jr. don't want Democrats or Republicans.
25:23They're independents who want a third party candidate. And I think some of them will feel
25:28betrayed. And I think polling will show that in the weeks and months ahead.
25:31Well, we're going to hear from the former president in this rally in Arizona, but he
25:36did reference this endorsement today. Seemed pretty happy about it. Take a listen.
25:41We just had a very nice endorsement from RFK Jr. We're heading out right after this. We're
25:49going to be going to Arizona. We'll be talking about that and a lot of other things, too.
25:54I just want to thank everybody. And I want to thank Bobby. That was very nice. That was
25:58really very nice. That's big. He's a great guy. Respected by everybody.
26:05Matthew, I think it helps Trump, Brett, for a couple of reasons. One, it interrupts the
26:10pro Harris news cycle that we've been living through this past week, at least for a
26:14moment. Two, it's going to help him on Trump on the margins in many of these close
26:19states and boost his numbers. And three, it broadens the Trump coalition to include
26:25Democrats and independents. I mean, you have a sky on of the Kennedy family joining
26:29forces with Donald Trump. That's going to play, I think, a big role in November.
26:34Yeah. You know, RFK Jr., how he took special time in his speech today to go after the
26:42mainstream media. Take a listen.
26:44During the 16 months since I declared ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and CNN combined gave only two
26:56live interviews. Those networks instead ran a continuous deluge of hit pieces with
27:02inaccurate, often vile, pejoratives and defamatory smears. Your institutions have
27:09made your made themselves government mouthpieces and stenographers for the organs of
27:14power.
27:16And he went on from there. It was a big part of that speech.
27:19Yeah, it really was. And I think it's pathetic that he's scapegoating the media for not
27:23giving him more airtime, because the blunt truth is he's always been a fringe candidate
27:27with no plausible way of winning the presidency. And so the reason he hasn't got much
27:32airtime is noble him as a spoiler. And at the same time, Brett, you know, he tried to
27:38make a deal as he became less influential. First with Kamala Harris. You give me a job if
27:44you win a health care job and I will endorse you. Same thing with Donald Trump. That
27:49didn't come about. And so, you know, he's colorful. He you know, he had the great bear
27:54cover up show why he was putting a dead bear carcass in his car. And he said he had a
27:59brain worm. But I think the media just didn't take him very seriously. And I think this
28:04shows it shows why.
28:05Yeah. And, Hugh, part of the other argument in that speech was that the effort that the
28:11Democratic Party was making to keep him off ballots, which he found extraordinary.

28:22campaign, and she set up the war room against Bobby Kennedy Jr. And she's very good at
28:27what she does. And she was attacking him relentlessly. I don't think that's why it
28:31matters, though, on a substantive basis to refer to what Matt said. A lot of the people
28:36who are supporting Bobby Kennedy have a great suspicion of the government, not just
28:40covered, but just of the administrative state generally. Those folks are not going to
28:45find a home with Kamala Harris, who is the child of big government, California, San
28:50Francisco, Democrat land. And so on a substantive basis, although it's only two or
28:55three percent, we're talking about a toss up. It's like the bank shot at the end of a
29:00basketball game. It matters. It matters a lot.
29:04All right, let's and I want to finish with this about wrapping up the DNC, what we saw
29:08there out of Chicago. It did have a different look. We commented on that in the panel
29:13every night. There was a lot of a lot of flags, a lot of pro-America messaging. And
29:20Peggy Noonan saw that, too. She wrote in The Wall Street Journal, patriotism at the DNC.
29:25They stole traditional Republican themes, faith, patriotism and claimed them as their
29:30own. Also impressive was the degree to which they cast a magic conjuring sorcery spell
29:35in which viewers got the feeling the whole purpose of the Democratic Party is to break
29:39away from a grim and doom laden reigning regime when they've been in charge for three
29:45and a half years. That was quite something.
