Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) menggelar rapat terbatas (ratas) terkait penanganan penyakit cacar monyet atau Mpox. Rapat tersebut digelar di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, pagi ini (27/8).

Menteri Kesehatan (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin mengatakan pihaknya mengikuti keputusan Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) untuk mengubah status cacar monyet atau monkey pox (Mpox) menjadi kedaruratan kesehatan global (PHEIC) per 14 Agustus 2024 kemarin.
