00:10why do we eat food we eat food because we need energy for our daily activities
00:21like thinking walking sleeping playing or doing any kind of work we need energy
00:35we need energy to grow up all living things plants and animals need energy to
00:49grow up and they get that energy from the food they eat do you know how plants
00:58get energy to grow up plants get energy from the water sunlight and soil every
01:10change like melting of ice freezing of water blowing of air drying up clothes
01:21just every change every activity requires energy now let's see where this
01:31energy comes from or let's learn about the different sources of energy if we
01:41switch on the fan it starts running from where does it get energy it is running
01:49because of electrical energy if we heat water it starts boiling because of heat
01:59energy vehicles or cars bikes they get energy from fuel like petrol or diesel
02:13microwaves gets energy from electricity to cook and heat food we run a bicycle using
02:26our muscular energy our clothes are dried up either using the heat energy from the
02:35sun or wind or we dry them up in machines using the electrical energy so every change
02:47from our doing work our playing our sleeping our thinking or any physical change like melting
