00:08Now that it's gone to 12, he's got to finally get Penn State in the college football playoff.
00:14But this is the kind of game he likes to flex his muscles, Coach.
00:18Early in the year against a team that he's probably a little bit better than,
00:21I could see Penn State giving the business to West Virginia tomorrow.
00:25Yeah, and I'm really up on West Virginia as kind of a sleeper.
00:28Of course, I am a Mountaineer.
00:29I did go to West Virginia.
00:31Yeah, that's true.
00:33And I think West Virginia will have an outstanding season and we'll get to a bowl game.
00:37But I don't think having a great season is beating Penn State.
00:40Penn State is a great, solid team.
00:42They've got a little better talent.
00:44And West Virginia will play them great at home.
00:46And this was a nasty robbery through the years when I was playing there
00:50and my dad was coaching at West Virginia.
00:52But Penn State seems to always have a little more talent than West Virginia.
00:56And, Coach, you know, let me ask you this.
00:59There were some kids on West Virginia who were on that team last year
01:02that talked about Franklin kind of rubbing it in,
01:05throwing an extra touchdown on at the end of that game last year.
01:09You've been involved in heated rivalries before.
01:11Does that stuff get remembered the next year?
01:14And are some of the kids on West Virginia going to be thinking about that?
01:17Well, I mean, anything you can do to motivate your players.
01:20I remember my dad running a score up on Lou Holtz when he was at William & Mary.
01:24And Lou Holtz said he didn't appreciate it.
01:26And my dad said, Lou, it's your job to hold the score down, not mine.
01:29They were good friends and he was kidding.
01:31But, again, I don't think that's going to make a factor
01:33in how well they play at West Virginia.
01:35Again, you've got to look at the history.
01:37West Virginia does need a reason to get up to play Penn State.
01:40It's always been a big brother type of program that looked down at West Virginia,
01:43these Mountaineers, these Hillbillies, and we take them serious when we play Penn State.
