00:00Okay, before you pipe up, I know this one's been out for a few years and I've seen it
00:18a few times pop up on the Metastore, but it just didn't appeal to me.
00:23I've never particularly enjoyed horrors since I was about 14.
00:27They all just seem like comedy shows.
00:30So when this came up on half-price sale a few months ago, I grabbed it.
00:35So visually, it looks great, and it's certainly got a great ambience to it.
00:41More than a few times has the hair on my arm stood up on end.
00:45There's no jump scares, or at least nothing made me jump, but my ex-wife often said that
00:51I'm dead inside.
00:53Now there's no fighting in this game, and it's not that long of a game.
00:57Depending on how fast you find and solve clues, you can expect to get between 2 to 3 hours.
01:05The story is simple.
01:07You are a detective investigating a crime, but obviously, this is not your usual crime.
01:13You will be looking around and searching for clues, and as usual, it's in the dark, because
01:18you know, in horror films, there's no such thing as daytime.
01:24There's not really much to say about this.
01:26There are five levels, and in each level, you are trying to repel a demon.
01:31Between each level, you will return to your office, where each time something is left
01:36on your desk to read or listen to, which aids the story along.
01:41You get some items after the first story that you carry around you.
01:46A cross to ward off those evil spirits, some vials of holy water, a special torch to allow
01:52you to see what can't usually be seen, and some salt spray.
01:56It feels a little more like an experience than a game, but it's very entertaining.
02:03If you enjoy horror games, and this comes up on sale, then grab it.
02:09It's fun for the few hours that it lasts.
