A family campaigning for a young man's murderer to be brought to justice for more than two decades said they feel 'let down by the police'.
Loved ones of Jonathan McMurray say they have grieved every day of the last 22 years since he was stabbed to death on the way home from the pub aged just 20.
But they claim police failed to properly investigate his murder and with those responsible still at large are now speaking out to try and force them to re-look at his case.

00:00I'm Sandra McMurray. My son is Jonathan McMurray. On the 17th of July, 2002, my son was sadly
00:13taken from me, murdered on that day. He went with friends and family to Wetherspoon to
00:22celebrate because he was a talented musician. He went to celebrate in Wetherspoon with his
00:30family and friends to celebrate that day because he had a record deal. He just got a record
00:36deal from somebody and he was so excited about it and happy. So he went with family and friends
00:41to celebrate. While coming back from there, the pub closed in time, they closed, so he
00:48and his brother-in-law were coming back from there. Coming back from Wetherspoon, a group
00:57of boys sitting on Glassman Avenue, there was a wall there outside of our house, jumped
01:02Jonathan. They thought they had a fight and then, sadly, Jonathan didn't expect his life
01:13to go that day. He was so excited. He didn't know that that was his last day.
01:18In 22 years, why are you now fighting for justice?
01:22Because I think now I'm fighting for justice, I'm going to media, I'm going everywhere,
01:26newspaper, wherever I can to get my story out because I think the detectives have failed
01:32me in many ways, the system has failed me, so I want to get my story out wherever I can
01:38to jog people's memories. Maybe somebody hears something about it, seen 22 years ago
01:45that people have moved out of this area and gone to a different area and would like to
01:50come forward now. So I would like to jog people's memories as the police haven't done much.
01:57They haven't even gone back, picked up the people and questioned them again. Nothing
02:03like that. 22 years, they just left it like that. So now I want to media anywhere, wherever
02:09my story can go, to get the justice I need for my son. My son needs justice. I need closure.
