00:00seven straight Craig Mish for the New York Mets in the hunt
00:08for that third and final National League wildcard spot.
00:11The Braves are playing the Rockies so bad news for New
00:14York Atlanta has won both of the first two games of that set
00:17still a half game deficit for the Amazons to make up, but
00:21they are doing all they can seven consecutive victories for
00:25the Mets. What has spurned on this late charge out of New
00:29York? Yeah, the stars are shining for them Pete Alonso
00:32and more importantly Francisco Lindor. I mean those have been
00:35two big reasons the pitching has been good. They're finally
00:38being able to close out some games, although the bullpen has
00:41been shaky all season long, but you know it's sort of
00:43incredible to think that a year ago the Mets said goodbye to
00:46Scherzer and Verlander and Robertson and Canha and all
00:49these other players and they're much better this year without
00:52them. I don't know what that speaks to, but look they're
00:54they're playing very good baseball at the moment. I think
00:56they're going to fight this thing all the way right down to
00:58the end guys. This is like a horse race that's coming down
01:01the stretch with them and the Braves and it's just kind of
01:03like too close to call at the moment. So I feel like you know
01:06my best advice would be to sit back and enjoy this thing and
01:08see who ends up winning because for me, it's just flip that
01:11coin right now. They're both playing good baseball. I don't
01:14know.
