00:00Well Paris 2024 had promised a celebration to end off the Paralympics and they did exactly that
00:06turning the Stade de France into an open-air nightclub. It was very much about portraying
00:14French music more specifically French electronic music from the 1970s and 80s all the way until
00:20today Jean-Michel Jarre all the way to Martin Solveig to close off this ceremony. A ceremony
00:25a celebration for athletes for the fans and also for the volunteers who were thanked very much by
00:31the crowds and by the organizers. Paris 2024 is finished but it doesn't end there it has definitely
00:38launched something new for everybody in France that's in terms of interest of sport in terms of
00:44awareness and interest as well into para sports and also we're going to be looking at of course
00:50over in the near future about how this legacy what this legacy is actually left for France
00:56because of course the Paralympics are about the sports and about getting people into sports but
01:01it's also about athletes and non-athletes daily lives and as we know plenty can still be done
01:07for people for the 1.3 billion people with disabilities across the world. The message
01:13around here has been from the from the heads of the Paralympics was one of inclusion a revolution
01:18of inclusion and tonight and this after this ceremony well Andrew Parsons said that Paris
01:242024 has actually set a new benchmark and that's very much because we often look back to London
01:30as to the organization and what the games can do for athletes and not but Paris 2024 has clearly
01:35been a huge success and we'll be following how things develop over the coming months.
