00:00It was not easy to find out how Pastor Apollo Quiboloy went to the custody of the authorities.

00:08Let's go back to what happened when the Philippine National Police first issued a warrant of arrest against him until he was arrested.

00:17This is what Gav Villegas reported.

00:21August 24, 2024.

00:24In a social media post by KOJC Legal Counsel Atty. Israeli Toturion,

00:29it can be seen that at around 3 in the morning, the police gathered in front of KOJC.

00:34This was led by Police Regional Office or PRO-11 Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Nicholas Torre III.

00:42The alleged group is a part of their service of a warrant of arrest against the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ,

00:49Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, and his other companions.

00:53At 5 in the morning, they opened the gate of the members of KOJC.

00:58The two groups entered the place and issued a warrant of arrest.

01:03Torre added that they will not leave until they get Pastor Quiboloy and his companions.

01:10On the second day, past 9 in the morning, the search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy was continued

01:16in the more than 30-hectare KOJC compound led by Police Brigadier General Torre III.

01:23The DSWT personnel were with the police to ensure that there will be no abuse, especially among minors and women.

01:31August 26, 2024.

01:34There was again tension outside the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound

01:38after several members of KOJC and supporters of Quiboloy blocked the national highway.

01:44The next day, several members of the media in Davao were harassed by several members of KOJC and supporters of Pastor Quiboloy.

01:53At first, a media personnel tried to calm down the alleged group

01:58and made the media understand that they will get both sides of the story, but it did not listen.

02:06The PTV News team was also not saved because the car of the news team was blocked by supporters of Quiboloy

02:12so that it will not be able to enter near the police area.

02:16A bottle container was also found in the car of the PTV.

02:43On the 6th day, PNP personnel continued to reinforce the security of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound.

02:52More than 2,000 PNP personnel were deployed during the shifting.

02:59The Police Regional Office-11 condemned the targeting of their two helicopters

03:04that were monitoring the evacuation of members of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ or KOJC.

03:09According to the spokesperson of PRO-11, Police Lt. Col. Jeric Filosofo,

03:15their pilots reported that while they were flying the helicopter,

03:20they were being targeted by high-resolution lasers from members of KOJC.

03:29On the 10th day of the police operation, there was tension between the police and members of KOJC.

03:36The police wanted to open the main gate of Jose Maria College.

03:40Explained by Police Maj. Gen. Catherine Dela Rey, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office-11,

03:47that the main gate needs to be opened so that the police can freely enter inside the compound.

03:53KOJC now has a call after a drill is being conducted in their cathedral.

03:59For five hours, the group of KOJC isolated the PNP-PRO-11 in a public hearing held in Davao City.

04:07It was led by Sen. Ronald Bato de la Rosa, Sen. Robin Hood Padilla, and Sen. Bong Go.

04:14To speed up the process, the police used technology.

04:18Three life and motion detectors, one borescope, and four ground penetrating radars.

04:25MMDA, Bureau of Fire Protection, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and several private individuals were borrowed.

04:34Including a former churchmate of Kibuloy before the KOJC.

04:39Because of the indicators seen by the police, on the 6th day, they started the drill.

04:46In a video shown by TORRE, the members of KOJC can be seen facing the female police.

04:53Since then, a lot has happened. Some were injured, others became emotional.

04:59But yesterday, in a peaceful protest by KOJC Pastor Apolo Kibuloy, the drill conducted by the congregation was stopped.
