Kamala Harris campaigns in Pennsylvania

US Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, rally supporters in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on Sept. 13, 2024. Harris made several jabs toward the former US president and Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, who she debated on September 10 at a high-stakes debate hosted by ABC News. Pennsylvania, considered a battleground state in the 2024 general election, has been a frequent stop on the campaign trail for both presidential candidates

00:00Three days ago, Donald Trump and I had our debate.
00:04You watched it.
00:12You'll remember that night I talked about issues that matter to families across America,
00:18like bringing down the cost of living, investing in America's small businesses,
00:23protecting reproductive freedom, and keeping our nation safe and secure.
00:37But that is not what we heard from Donald Trump.
00:40Instead, it was the same old show, the same tired playbook we've heard for years,
00:49with no plan on how he would address the needs of the American people.
00:57Well, folks, it's time to turn the page.
01:04Which is why part of my plan that you heard about the other night
01:08will give a $50,000 tax deduction to start-up small businesses,
01:17knowing that not everybody, like my opponent, got handed $40 million on a silver tray
01:24and then filed for bankruptcy six times.
01:29So as president, I will get rid of the unnecessary degree requirements for federal jobs
01:41and increase jobs for folks without a four-year degree,
01:46understanding that requiring a certain degree does not necessarily talk about one's skills.
01:57And I will challenge the private sector to do the same.
02:04As he said in the debate just this week, he has no plan to replace it.
02:13Right. Right. You said it.
02:16He said he has, quote, concepts of a plan.
02:22Concepts of a plan. No actual plan.
02:28I would like the fundamental freedom of a woman to make decisions about her own body
02:35and not have her government telling her what to do.
02:43And we remember how we got here.
02:46Donald Trump handpicked three members of the United States Supreme Court
02:51with the intent that they would overturn Roe v. Wade.
02:56And they did exactly as he intended.
03:06Now is the time to get a hostage deal and cease fire.
03:13We have been working around the clock to get that done.
03:21And I respect your voice, but right now I am speaking.
03:35Someone who suggests we should terminate the Constitution of the United States of America
03:44should never again stand behind the seal of the President of the United States.
03:52Never again.
03:54God bless you and God bless the United States of America.
