00:00This weekend is official for Assumption Antipolo, the 55th season of the All-Women Tri-Level League of the Women's National Collegiate Athletics Association or WNCAA.

00:16The 55th season of the Women's National Collegiate Athletics Association or WNCAA is now in full swing.

00:24They held their opening ceremony last Saturday in Assumption Antipolo.

00:29Here, student-athletes gathered to raise the flag and flag of their schools in 13 different places.

00:39In their celebration, Assumption Antipolo School Director Marie Grace also raised the value of the WNCAA to continue to protect women in sports.

00:51This year's theme, championing and empowering women in sports,

00:55reminds us of the importance of advocating for gender equality and giving young women the opportunities they deserve.

01:04Through sports, our athletes learn the values of hard work, teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership.

01:12And these lessons go beyond the game and shape them into the role models and leaders in their communities.

01:21The PBA's Manager for Operations and Business Development, Roselle Fabi Teotico, also attended as a guest of Honor's Opening Rites.

01:35Two-time Olympian-Filipina golfer and Assumption Antipolo alumna, Bianca Pagdanganan, also received a surprise video message.

01:51Yes, it's a lot of pressure, but remember that pressure gets privileged.

01:55As we welcome a new season, I hope all of you remember to have fun, play hard, and take breaks as well.
