00:00Welcome to this new newspaper, here are the headlines, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir
00:23al-Mumineen presided over a religious vigil on Sunday at the Hassan Araba Mosque in commemoration
00:29of Eid al-Mawlid al-Nabawi al-Sharif, and in Marrakech, the Moroccan Red Crescent
00:37presents its post-Semitism assessment and its future strategy.
00:44The Lions of the Atlas of Futsal face Tajikistan on Monday at 4 p.m. Moroccan time, as part
00:50of the World Cup, which continues until October 6 in Uzbekistan.
01:00His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir al-Mumineen, accompanied by Prince Moulay al-Hassan, Prince
01:10Moulay Rachid and Prince Moulay Ahmed, presided over a religious vigil on Sunday at the Hassan
01:15Araba Mosque in commemoration of Eid al-Mawlid al-Nabawi al-Sharif.
01:21This religious vigil was marked by the declaration of the verse of the Holy Quran and on this
01:26occasion, the Minister of Habus and Islamic Affairs, Ahmed Tawfiq, spoke in front of the
01:31sovereign, in which he presented the assessment of the activities of the High Council of Local
01:38Councils of the Ulema, before handing over to His Majesty King Mohammed VI the relative
01:43report on these activities.
01:48And subsequently, His Majesty King Amir al-Mumineen, gave the prize to Mohammed VI of Islamic
01:55Studies to Mohammed bin al-Wali.
01:57His Majesty the King was then saluted by Jamal al-Din Abdullam Zuhair of Libya, who received
02:02from the hands of the sovereign the international prize Mohammed VI of memorization of the declaration
02:07of the Holy Quran.
02:09The sovereign also proceeded to hand over the international prize Mohammed VI of Psalmody
02:14of the Holy Quran to Ahmed Salim Mkewa of the Republic of Tanzania.
02:20His Majesty the King, Amir al-Mumineen, also handed over the prize Mohammed VI of Honor
02:24in Calligraphy to Faisal al-Nasri and the prize Mohammed VI of Excellence in Calligraphy
02:32to Zakaria Mselek.

02:41Abdel Fattah Ait Birkanea Ismail.
02:45His Majesty the King also handed over the prize Mohammed VI of Arabic Literature to
02:51al-Mateh Hassari and Mohammed Shirkawi.
02:59His Majesty the King, Amir al-Mumineen, also wanted to give his royal grace on the occasion
03:06of the birthday of the Prophet to 638 people, some of whom are in detention and others in
03:12freedom, condemned by various courts of the kingdom, says a statement from the Ministry of Justice.
03:22The celebration of the 2024 edition of the Gamut was also marked by the return of the keys
03:29of the Grand Mosque of Tiwawan, still under construction.
03:33This architectural jewel is the result of several partnerships, in particular with Morocco,
03:38the kingdom took advantage of its expertise in the construction of this modern mosque.
03:43And to find out more, we listen together.
03:46Dear Omar Sy, a member of the Tidiane family of Sidi El-Hajji Malik Sy, is the president
03:52of the Amicale des Anciens Etudiants.
03:54He is on the microphone of Regis Moukila and Cheikh Ndaou.
03:58Moroccans have contributed to bring their expertise and know-how.
04:03First of all, I think it was them who had to manage the decoration of the mosque,
04:09but then there were some negotiations and it was the Turks who came to take care of
04:15a good part of the decoration.
04:17But all the interior part, for the houses, the imam's rooms and all that,
04:23was done by the Moroccans.
04:27I think this is a relationship that must be maintained.
04:31We must be really jealous of this relationship and maintain it with great diplomacy,
04:41not only at the level of the states, but also at the level of the peoples.
04:46Today we are going to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the convention between Morocco and Senegal
04:51in 1964.
04:53And this convention says something very important.
04:56In summary, what it says is that the Senegalese is a Moroccan,
05:00the Moroccan is a Senegalese.
05:02It is a mosque that, in terms of modernity, is really unique in its kind.
05:09The porticoes, the air curtains, you see, it is an intelligent mosque,
05:18because there are all the classrooms that are connected with intelligent paintings.
05:23You can give classes here in the mosque and it can serve the whole world today.
05:33And in Morocco, the Moroccan Red Crescent presented on Saturday in Marrakech
05:38the report of its interventions throughout the year,
05:41following the earthquake of September 8, 2023,
05:44as well as its strategy adopted to mitigate the social impacts of this natural disaster.
05:50During this meeting, the participants highlighted the efforts of the Moroccan Red Crescent
05:56to meet the needs of the affected populations,
05:59in particular the pursuit and operations of rescue,
06:02the provision of temporary shelter, the installation of health infrastructure
06:06and the supply of drinking water and sanitation services.
06:09In addition to the measures taken to guarantee food security,
06:13the managers specified that the interventions of the Moroccan Red Crescent,
06:17with the support of partners and local authorities,
06:20benefited about 26,000 people out of 35% of women,
06:25covering nearly 91 areas affected in the prefecture of Marrakech
06:31and the provinces of El House, Shishawa and Tel Oudensa.
06:37And in the United States, American media designated Ryan Wesley Root,
06:42interviewed by the France Press in 2022 in Kiev,
06:46who supported the Ukrainian people as the author of the presumed assassination attempt
06:52against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
06:57American media indicated that Ryan Wesley Root, 56,
07:02had been arrested after US Secret Service agents opened fire on an armed man
07:08carrying an AK-47-type rifle near Trump's golf course in Florida,
07:14where the former president was playing on Sunday.
07:17CNN and CBS reported that Root has been displaying his talents in a courthouse
07:24for several decades and regularly publishes articles on politics
07:28and current affairs, sometimes criticizing Donald Trump.
07:34International, as always, the Ministry of Health announces a new report
07:39of 41,226 deaths in the Palestinian territory since the beginning of the war with Israel in its 12th month.
07:46According to the statement, at least 20 people have been killed in the last 24 hours,
07:51adding that 95,413 people had been injured in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the war on October 7.
08:00Berlin began on Monday to re-establish, for six months,
08:08checks on all its borders to fight illegal immigration.
08:13Mobile and stationary police checks with France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands,
08:18Belgium and Denmark will thus be added to those already in place
08:22on the borders with Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland.
08:26In principle, such checks on the interior borders are prescribed within the Schengen area,
08:32but in the event of a threat to public order or security,
08:35they are possible for a duration of six months, with an extension per period of six months,
08:40for a duration not exceeding two years.
08:42The European Commission reacted by reminding that such measures must remain strictly exceptional
08:48and pleaded for them to be provided.
08:53And for Abdelrahman Ammar, a journalist specializing in European affairs,
09:00Berlin is disarming machinery under the pressure of domestic politics.
09:06We listen to him.
09:07From today and for a period of six months,
09:10which may be extended, Berlin began to reinforce checks on all its borders.
09:17The objective declared by the government is to try to limit illegal immigration,
09:21especially after two terrorist attacks recently,
09:25in which two refugees were implicated, one from Afghanistan and the other from Syria,
09:32and also because of other crimes committed by some irregular immigrants.
09:37But many experts explain this decision by the pressure of the opposition,
09:43represented by the moderate right, the Christian Alliance CDU-CSO,
09:48the extreme right, the FT, but also the left, the populist Alliance Sarah Wagenknecht.
09:55The government of the socialist Olaf Scholz certainly does not want to allow
10:00the exploitation of the map of migration and asylum during the elections,
10:05even if the workers who are part of the government of Scholz do not quite agree.
10:11This decision has not also been welcomed by neighboring countries,
10:15such as Poland and Austria, which claim that they will not accept immigrants
10:20and refugees far from the border.
10:24Other critics, such as the former European Commissioner, Junker Fischer,
10:30see a direct threat to free movement in the Schengen area.
10:35However, the German interior minister, Nancy Wieser,
10:39has declared that travelers should not expect disturbances in traffic.
10:45But transport companies and truck drivers are afraid of delays due to the controls.
10:53Organizations that defend the rights of refugees and immigrants
10:59condemn what they call the lack of respect for asylum rights and arbitrary expulsions.
11:09We stay on the continent and the storm Boris affects all of Central and Eastern Europe,
11:15causing damage, floods and victims.
11:18More details in this story by Sohail Jalil.
11:23Chaos in Central Europe in the wake of the Boris depression.
11:27The accumulations of rain, floods and destructions
11:30that the Boris depression has caused since this Friday are already breaking records.
11:35It has already caused the death of at least seven people
11:38and the evacuation of thousands of displaced people in Poland, Romania and Austria.
11:44Boris took everything on his passage.
11:47I have nothing left.
11:49My house is uninhabitable.
11:51I have nothing left.
11:53Same catastrophic situation in the southwest of Poland,
11:57in the historic city of Glukolasi.
11:59Authorities ordered a massive evacuation at night,
12:02while water had submerged a dam.
12:04Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that the state would do everything possible to help the inhabitants.
12:13We think there will be more evacuation.
12:16Hold on, citizens.
12:21In Austria, snow fell en masse on the summits.
12:24Experts also predict continuous rainfall until Monday,
12:28with at least 150 to 200 liters of rain per square meter
12:32expected in the mountainous region of Salzgamergut and the Viennese Forest.
12:36In Vienna, an alert has been issued in several neighborhoods of the capital,
12:40which for some have been partially evacuated as a precaution.
12:45And in Morocco, a bulletin of the National Meteorological Agency
12:49warns of locally strong thunderstorms,
12:52which are expected on Monday in several provinces of the kingdom,
12:56announced by the General Directorate of Meteorology.
13:00These thunderstorms will concern the provinces of Gnefra, Gerada, Ifren, Fegik, Tenrir, Azilal, Rachidia, Boulmen and Middelt.
13:09This is an orange alert bulletin.
13:13Morocco won the 2024 edition of the Africa Cup of Pastry on Friday in Marrakech.
13:19A refined competition organized as part of the official tournament of the African chefs, Toc Afrique.
13:26The Moroccan team, composed of the duo Mohamed El Mraoui and Omar Dib,
13:31was crowned African champion after 10 hours of competition,
13:36followed by Mauritian islands.
13:38The Moroccan team, composed of the duo Mohamed El Mraoui and Omar Dib,
13:42won Mauritian and Tunisian islands,
13:44who came second and third from the podium on Friday.
13:48The day before, Morocco also won the Golden Box,
13:52placed under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
13:55This competition was marked by the participation of eight teams
13:59representing Morocco, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Ghana, Mauritian Islands, Senegal and Tunisia.
14:06The three winning teams, who managed to dazzle the grandpas and the international jury of this competition,
14:12have won their tickets to represent their respective countries at the World Cup of Pastry,
14:18which will be held at the prestigious Le Syrah Salon in Lyon in 2025.
14:24And we listen to this effect as Rahel, he is the president of TOC Africa and Florent Buissant, representative of the Bocuse d'Or.
14:32Today, it is a legitimacy to have the Bocuse d'Or in Africa, it is a legitimacy.
14:38And I want to dedicate this victory to His Majesty King Mohamed Fiji, may God glorify him.
14:44Morocco won the title in 2018, we lost it in 2022, because 2020 was the Covid, we lost it in 2022.
14:55Today, we have regained it, it is just a legitimacy that you know, Moroccan cuisine and Moroccan gastronomy,
15:02in its place in the world, it was confirmed and reconfirmed.
15:05That's why today, there is work, it doesn't come from nothing, it's work, it's a challenge, it's serious, it's research, it's the work of taste.
15:19And today, Morocco is the champion of Africa, and God willing, there will be two countries that will go to the Bocuse d'Or World, God willing, in Lyon, in January 2025, Morocco and Mauritius.
15:32Morocco, for me, is really the country that carries, not only its own gastronomy, but also that pulls up all African gastronomy.
15:43It is a country that is rich in an immense culture, which says immense culture, necessarily says a very rich gastronomy too,
15:52rich in its products, in its terroirs, in its chefs, in its restaurants, and of course, it concerns both cuisine and pastry.
16:02And a word of sport now, it is linked to the Futsal class, facing Tajikistan on Monday at 4 p.m. Moroccan time, in the World Cup organized in Uzbekistan.
16:15The men of Hicham Zghig were able to take advantage of the last training session held yesterday in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent,
16:22to make the final adjustments before the first shock to be managed in this world competition, which has already seen several teams succeed in their entry to the ISF, such as Brazil or Argentina.
16:35And now, our guest of the big news of the afternoon, and we are going to talk about the last post-SEIM report presented by the Red Crescent in Marrakech.
16:54And to give us the highlights of this report, we are live with Moulay Hfidh Alawi, who is the Vice President of the Moroccan Red Crescent and Regional Coordinator for the region of Marrakech.
17:08Safi Moulay Hfidh Alawi, hello and thank you for accepting our invitation.
17:12What report can we make first of all of the interventions of the Moroccan Red Crescent throughout this year,
17:19having followed this terrible earthquake that struck Morocco in September 2023?
17:26Hello, thank you for the invitation. I prefer to continue in Arabic, if that doesn't bother you.
17:34Listen, the JT is in French, Mr. Moulay Hfidh Alawi, so the intervention should be in French.
17:40In the first minutes of the earthquake, the Moroccan Red Crescent rushed to provide assistance,
17:54in coordination with the local authorities, to provide assistance to the four provinces affected by the earthquake, Marrakech, Lefeuze, Chichagua and Tanudin.
18:10Our first aid consists of psychological support, first aid and relief, and for seriously injured people,
18:24transfer to the hospitals that have been installed, whether it is the military hospital that was installed on site or the public hospitals.
18:37Then, the Moroccan Red Crescent, still in coordination with the authorities, was able to guarantee a temporary shelter for the injured,
19:22to distribute food donations, hygiene kits and even kitchen equipment.
19:31At the level of the four provinces, our teams followed and guaranteed the sanitary encampment for the injured who were transferred to Marrakech,
19:49temporarily, and also for the students who had transplanted classes from the provinces towards Marrakech.
19:59So, Mr. Moulay Hfidh Alawi, excuse me for interrupting you, I imagine that, of course, on September 8, 2023, you were present, you were very active.
20:11How have your actions evolved throughout this year, 2023, and the efforts of the Red Crescent to support, throughout this year,
20:22all the victims, of course, of this terrible earthquake on September 8, 2023?
20:28Yes, excuse me just to add something that is essential to me, it is in collaboration with public education,
20:40we were able to make available the times that I told you that it is used for both things, whether it is classes for students and whether it is for housing for teachers.
20:53During the last three days, that is, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it was an opportunity to evaluate everything that the Red Crescent has done,
21:03of course, with the support of our friends from all over the world, and here I quote the International Federation of the Red Crescent and the Red Crescent,
21:17in addition to the national societies that we thank very much, the Red Crescent, French, British, Spanish, Qatari and others.
21:30And it was an opportunity to evaluate and to focus on our weaknesses, to improve them and to put the future strategy.
21:45You know, we have now passed the emergency phase, so we are trying to develop a strategy that will help the victims to return to their shelter and facilitate a normal life as before.
22:12So, you presented in Marrakech the report of this year of hard work on the ground, of course, since the first hours of this terrible earthquake of September 8, 2023.
22:27Can you give us the main lines and the main axes of this report, of your action on the ground?
22:36The report that I can give, and it would be in figures, is that the beneficiaries, it exceeds 26,000 beneficiaries, it concerns more than 91 households in the four provinces that I have just mentioned.
22:53The axes were water, shelter, drinking water and sanitation, community health, the distribution of hygiene kits and psychological support,
23:13which we have insisted on a lot, because so far there are still cases that we see and that they need psychological support.
23:27And I will just quote you briefly, there are people whose shelter is livable, but people under psychological shock do not want to return.
23:38So, there are our teams that are well trained, but here they are, racist, and we give them a hand so that they return.
23:49And we continue to work until then, and it will continue until, with our partners, whether it is state, whether it is international, of the Red Cross and Red Cross,
24:02to achieve our goal, which is to return to a normal life.
24:08So, maybe one last question, we thank you for your kindness to have agreed to participate with us live on Mediathé.
24:18Certainly, the emergency has passed, so today there is a strategy, how are you going to continue to accompany these victims on the ground?
24:26On the psychological level or on the physical level, how are you going, your strategy for the next few months?
24:36Of course, our strategy, this is what we are working on with our state and international partners,
24:44and also now there are teams on site, and this is a first for community health,
24:51which is evaluating the urgency and need of these real fingers to be able to have the support of our friends to continue.
25:10So, once we have all this data, we can talk about what will be the work of the coming months, God willing.
25:18Moula Ahfed El Alawi, thank you very much for accepting our invitation,
25:21and I remind you that you are the Vice President of the Moroccan Red Cross and Regional Coordinator for the Marrakech-Safi region.
25:27Thank you very much for accepting our invitation.
25:31Thank you very much for your invitation, thank you.
25:33And this is the end of this newspaper, the return of the information in a few moments.
25:47Thank you very much.
