00:05Lancaster's first CBD coffee shop has closed down due to the cost of living
00:10crisis. Downwood Coffee Shop on Penny Street in Lancaster offered CBD infused
00:16cannabidiol, coffee and food and was the only CBD shop in Lancaster. Owners of the
00:23coffee shop said on Facebook it comes with a heavy heart and great sadness
00:27that on September 13th we will be closing the doors of Downwood Coffee
00:32Shop. With the rise of the cost of living which we believe to be affecting not
00:36only businesses but people themselves we as a business have had to come to an end.
00:42A police investigation is underway after a man in his 70s was attacked by a gang
00:47of teenagers on the Guild Wheel in Preston. The 73 year old was jumped by
00:53the youths while walking on the route next to the River Ribble at around 4.15
00:57p.m. on Tuesday September the 10th. The teenagers clad in black sportswear and
01:04black balaclavas fled the scene towards Broadgate. The injured and shaken
01:09pensioner suffered a broken arm and was taken to hospital for treatment. Tributes
01:15have been paid to a lifeboat crewman who sadly died. Lytham St Anne's RNLI
01:20announced the death of volunteer crew member Josh Wilder on September the 14th.
01:26Sharing the sad news on Facebook the RNLI said it is with incredible sadness
01:31that we have to announce the passing of volunteer crew member Josh Wilder.
01:36Josh joined Lytham St Anne's lifeboat crew in 2019. He was a valued and highly
01:42respected member of our crew and he will be greatly missed. Hundreds of people
01:47have since paid tribute to Josh including RNLI lifeboat stations across
01:52the UK. A Wigan Borough property that had become a frequent site for anti-social
01:58and criminal incidents has been given an additional three-month closure order. The
02:03order originally put in place in May for 12 Heron Place, Kit Green was extended
02:09for a further three months by Wigan Magistrates Court. The action means only
02:13the named tenants, council officers and the emergency services are permitted to
02:18enter the property with the aim of stopping criminality taking place at the
02:22property. The police are appealing for information after a child was involved
02:29in a road traffic collision in Burnley. The incident took place on Friday
02:34September the 6th between 5.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. close to Burnley Wood Park in
02:40Branch Road. Officers believe the vehicle involved was black and possibly an Audi.
02:46Police are asking if anyone knows who the driver was or the driver themselves
02:51to come forward. As for the weather today it will be fine and dry with plenty more
