00:33 United Utilities have responded to concerns of water contamination on the Fylde Coast
00:38 after posts circulated on social media claiming that the tap water was contaminated and that
00:44 it had resulted in some people being hospitalised. A United Utilities spokesperson said "There
00:49 are no issues with the tap water supply on the Fylde Coast. You may have seen some reports

00:58 are continuously monitored and we can confirm that all customers can continue to use their
01:03 water supply as normal."
01:06 In Wigan an arrest warrant has been issued for a serial domestic abuser after he failed

01:44 in donations by a BBC investigation. The BBC allege that Defa, a social enterprise, used
01:50 vulnerable people's photos without their consent and that founder James Anderson spent company
01:55 cash on a house and car. Defa also claimed that Mr Anderson prevented one elderly woman
02:00 from killing herself only for it to be revealed that she had died years earlier. Anderson

02:11 And in Lancaster a prison officer turned beauty queen has swapped her uniform for a ball gown
02:15 as she competes in the Miss England competition. Melissa Butcher, who secured a top 12 place

02:38 Onto the weather now and the Met Office forecasted a cloudy start to the day which is set to
02:42 brighten up with frequent sunny periods by the afternoon and warmer temperatures with
02:46 some isolated heavy showers and even thundery conditions. Any rain however will fade away
02:51 later in the day ahead of a dry night as conditions stay generally mild.
