00:00The Senate's hearing was quick today after the Senate Committee on Finance approved the budget of the Judiciary.
00:08Under the budget for 2025, the budget of the Judiciary is worth P84.39 billion.
00:17This is higher than the budget for 2024, which is P60.176 billion.
00:26Court Administrator Raul Villanueva explained that the budget will be used to improve infrastructures
00:34such as the Hall of Justice and other courts in the country.
00:37The magistrates, particularly Supreme Court Justice Paul Hernando and Justice Mario Lopez,
00:45were grateful that they did not have a hard time in laying out their budget for 2025 in the Senate.
00:51Senator Grace Paul, Chairperson of the committee, thanked the magistrates for their importance
00:58in the process of laying out the budget because Supreme Court Justices intervened in the hearing.
