00:21occurred on Friday at 9.15 p.m. when a 63-year-old driver attempted to make a right turn at an
00:27intersection.
00:29The driver, traveling from Banut toward Pontian, collided with a motorcycle ridden by a 17-year-old
00:36with an 18-year-old as the pillion passenger.
00:39The rider was unable to avoid the vehicle and crashed into its left side door, flinging
00:44the pillion rider into the car.
00:46Neither of the teenagers were wearing helmets.
00:49The pillion rider sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while
00:54the rider is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries at Pontian Hospital.
01:00The 63-year-old driver was unharmed.
