13:52And if I didn't see it with my own eyes,

13:55The Rocket, Owen Hart, is now officially in
13:58the King of the Ring tournament,
13:59thanks to Yokozuna, who lost to The Quake
14:02in a big sumo match here last week.
14:04We'll talk more on the tournament in just a second,
14:06but first, let me give you some specifics, please.
14:08We are just four weeks away from the second annual
14:11WWF King of the Ring Spectacular.
14:13It happens totally live from the Baltimore Arena in Maryland.
14:16On Father's Day, Sunday, June the 19th,
14:19at 8 Eastern, 5 Pacific,
14:20and exclusively on pay-per-view cable television.
14:23Now, here's the deal.
14:24You can't see anything unless you pick up your telephone
14:27and call your local cable company to place your order.
14:30All right, let's jump back into the actual
14:31King of the Ring tournament itself.
14:33Eight superstars in the WWF will qualify for action.
14:36And in order to be crowned king,
14:38you gotta beat three other superstars in the same night.
14:42Believe me, it's a grueling test of stamina and endurance.
14:45And right now, here's how it breaks down.
14:47In the first round of the WWF Superstars bracketing,
14:50Mabel will take on IRS.
14:53In the Monday Night Raw qualifying bracket,
14:55Razor Ramon will take on Bam Bam Bigelow.
14:58In the second bracket, still in the first round,
15:00winners of the WWF Superstars, keep in mind,
15:03Double J Jeff Jarrett, who won on Superstars,
15:06becomes the first to qualify with his victory
15:08over Made in the USA Lex Luger.
15:11And of course, as we all just witnessed,
15:13Owen Hart officially earns his spot in the second bracket
15:17of the Monday Night Raw winners.
15:19That leaves two remaining spots
15:21in this year's King of the Ring tournament.
15:23And the qualifying matches continue this weekend
15:25on WWF Superstars as the 1-2-3 Kid
15:29takes on the Destructive Adam Bomb.
15:32What a match.
15:33And then next week, right here on Monday Night Raw,
15:35the final qualifying match,
15:37as the Native American superstar Tatanka
15:39takes on Jimmy Del Rey of the Heavenly Bodies.
15:42Again, these matches are so important
15:44because if you win, you win.
15:47If you lose, you watch in pay-per-view
15:49with everybody else.
15:50Plus, don't forget, in addition to the actual
15:52King of the Ring tournament,
15:53there's going to be some great championship matches.
15:56The one and only Bret the Hitman Hart
15:58puts the WWF championship on the line
16:01when he takes on the Intercontinental Champion,
16:03the 7-foot Diesel.
16:05Now, even though this is a champion versus champion scenario,
16:08only the Hitman's title is on the line,
16:11which makes this man even more dangerous.
16:14So, Hitman, you've accepted the challenge of Big Daddy Cool,
16:19and I knew you would.
16:20You see, I counted on it
16:22because you've always been a wrestling champion.
16:24You've dodged no one.
16:26But when I watched the monitor,
16:28you told Vince McMahon,
16:29yes, I'll take on the Big D.
16:32I think I noticed a hint of apprehension in your voice
16:36because you know you've never faced anyone
16:38with the size, the strength,
16:41and the agility of the Big Diesel.
16:45So at the King of the Ring, Bret Hart,
16:47you put your belt on the line
16:50against an enigma, a 300-pound juggernaut.
16:54Yes, Bret Hart,
16:56soon the new world champion, Diesel,

17:03No question, folks, Big Daddy Cool
17:05has everything to gain and nothing to lose.
17:08Well, this weekend, some huge news,
17:10and I do mean huge.
17:11The tag title will be on the line
17:13at the King of the Ring Spectacular, June the 19th,
17:16as the new WWF Tag Team Champions,
17:18the Head Shrinkers,
17:19along with their advisor, Lou Albano,
17:21throw the title up for grabs
17:22when they take on the awesome team
17:25of Yokozuna and Crush.
17:28No doubt the Quake will be keeping a very keen eye
17:30on this match.
17:31Plus, of course, the Battle of the Century.
17:33Rowdy Roddy Piper returns to the squared circle
17:36just one more time to take on Jerry Lawler.
17:39This is certainly one of the most trumpeted matches
17:42in some time in the WWF,
17:44because let's face it,
17:45Rowdy Roddy Piper's done it all
17:47in and out of the World Wrestling Federation,
17:49and this time his return is for all the right reasons,
17:52the youngest fans, the kids.
17:54But these young people are in the hospital,
17:56and the Hot Rod is fighting for them.
