Oil price hike set Sept. 24

00:00After consecutive oil price rollbacks, several oil companies will raise prices of petroleum products effective tomorrow.
00:08Shell, Sea Oil, and Caltex will increase gasoline prices by 1 peso and 10 centavos per liter.
00:14Diesel will go up by 20 centavos per liter while kerosene prices will remain unchanged.
00:20Clean Fuel and Petro Gas will implement the same price hikes for gasoline and diesel.
00:25The Department of Energy, or DOE, links the price increases to the escalating tensions in the Middle East,
00:31particularly between Israel and Hezbollah, along with the anticipated interest rate cut in the US.
