00:16As you know, we are still experiencing heavy rains here in Santiago City, Isabela.

00:26Currently, pre-emptive and forced evacuation is underway in the barangays of Santiago City, Isabela.

00:32AFP, BFP, and PNP are helping to evacuate all residents, especially those who may be affected by the storm.

00:42The problem is that more than 200 houses were damaged in the entire city due to the storm.

00:50Just like in Calao East, there are still no survivors of the 15 families who were affected by the storm.

01:00Even their household items were also affected by the storm.

01:05That's why they are now back to zero.

01:08According to them, it's hard for them to find food every day.

01:12They also have to find work to do.

01:16Some families were forced to leave their homes so that they can find work.

01:23For now, the residents of the barangays are continuing to evacuate their houses in their covered courts and daycare centers.

01:29The local government promised to help those who lost their houses, but they admitted that it's not enough.

01:35That's why they are asking for help from the national government.

01:38The barangays are also asking for help from evacuees.

01:41Meanwhile, the local government of Santiago City is continuing to monitor the situation of their town for the storm.

01:49Their mayor and the local government held an emergency meeting for their action on the arrival of the storm.

01:58We declared a state of calamity to the S.A. and to all the viewers.

02:04Right after, on November 11, the storm hit Nica.

02:09On November 12, our DRM council immediately acted.

02:12And on November 13, our S.A. immediately passed and evacuated.

02:17So now, we are using our calamity fund.

02:21Although it's not moving yet.

02:23Because our reserves from our regular fund are still enough for now.

02:30Pepito is still not going down.

02:34Right now, you can see behind me, here in Santiago City, Isabela.

02:38The weather is very gloomy.

02:40We are experiencing moderate to heavy rains.

02:43Although, the wind is not that strong.

02:45But we are experiencing strong winds.

02:48And it's possible that it will get stronger.

02:50Especially, Pepito storm is just getting closer to the town of Santiago City.

02:56The DSWD and the local government sent relief again.

03:00They are still doing what they call 24-hour monitoring.

03:04Meanwhile, the local government of Santiago City is doing its best to meet their target.

03:10That not a single resident will be hungry.
