11:08sitting in his house with his new baby that's been born. We don't see his wife, but it's the same

11:16hero with him basically being kicked out of the military discharged all because
11:20of what happened during the events of Falcon and Winter Soldier. As we saw at the end
11:24of that series he started working for Val doing the shadier black ops missions
11:28basically the same thing that Yelena Belova has been doing for Val, but nobody
11:32that's been working for her like all these different members on the Thunderbolts knew about the other
11:36members working for her. That's why when they all see each other in the Sentry's
11:40facility they think the others are there to kill them. So they all start trying
11:44to kill each other until they all start to realize that it's a trap that Val
11:48laid trying to get rid of them getting them to kill each other. I love the way
11:52that Yelena Belova says that she thought the answer was throwing herself into work, but her work
11:56is basically all these black ops missions all over the world. The interesting thing
12:00is that she's basically doing the work of a black widow, but doing it for Val
12:04Thunderbolt Ross also has a former black widow who was with Yelena Belova
12:08and was freed during the events that movie working for him. Shira Haas' character
12:12here not a bad idea if you want someone really bad ass to actually protect you to hire
12:16a black widow. We see her in what might be Hong Kong blowing up a lab
12:20facility here. This is her inside another completely different facility
12:24fighting her way through a bunch of men having her own black widow hallway fight scene
12:28just like she did during Iron Man 2. Remember that was the whole joke during
12:32the black widow movie she was making fun of her for doing the superhero pose
12:36which she did during Iron Man 2 and she kind of does a superhero pose later in that movie
12:40also probably going to do another one during this movie too. You're such a poser
12:44Then we see her getting off an elevator at the bottom level of
12:48Sentry's facility where Val has secretly been creating him. Notice you can
12:52see all the lab equipment all wrapped up that's because they finish creating the Sentry
12:56like he is done. There's a really cool fight scene where they all start trying
13:00to kill each other at the same time. Really good way to show you what
13:04each of their different skills are because some of them have superpowers some of them have
13:08super soldier serum in them and some of them like ghost have other powers phasing
13:12Notice John Walker has a shield he made himself his own shield
13:16during Falcon and Winter Soldier. This is probably a slightly upgraded version of that
13:20This is meant to be Taskmaster's new look. It's meant to look more like the newer version
13:24of comic book Taskmaster. Then ghost is back. She's also meant to look
13:28more like comic book ghost phasing through the knife and then throwing it back
13:32at them. Been a hot minute since we seen the ghost character since like Ant-Man and the Wasp
13:36How long ago was that? Forever. Notice on the crates you see the letters
13:40O-E. That's actually representative of O-X-E Val's organization
13:44in the newer Thunderbolts run. O-X-E is meant to be affiliated
13:48with Outer Circle the organization from the comics which is sort of like another
13:52HYDRA type of organization that forms trying to insert itself
13:56and take over the government. I think it's meant to be a slight wink at her Madam HYDRA
14:00identity in the comics. The idea that this is other secret organization
14:04secret cabal of really powerful people out there trying to control world governments
14:08During the more recent Thunderbolts run Bucky actually inserts himself
14:12trying to take down the organization from within and use their resources to form
14:16a Thunderbolts team which they might wind up doing during the events of this movie
14:20because it sounds like they all go to revenge kill Val at the top of the Avengers tower
14:24that she's bought. You even see a bar here that looks just like the bar
14:28that Tony Stark is at during the first Avengers movie where he's mixing the drink
14:32talking to Loki to try and stall him so that he won't kill him
14:36This scene in the trailer is meant to be a dark twist on that where Val is essentially doing the same
14:40thing to the Thunderbolts trying to stall them so that they won't kill her
14:44Then getting off the elevator at the top of the building is meant to be a parallel
14:48to the Avengers during endgame getting on the elevator to go down
14:52That was part of that whole funny scene of the Hulk hating the stairs
14:56So early theories that Val tries to save her life from being revenge killed by them by playing it off
15:00like her trying to kill them as if it were a test and they pass like you pass the test
15:04Now you get to be part of my official team that I'm putting together
15:08in that official team just winds up being the new Avengers team as she calls it
15:12but more like the dark Avengers of the comics. Then they play the sentries
15:16introduction is sort of like funny stumbling way like he's meant to be a version of Robert
15:20Reynolds, but they change his origin story for the MCU version little bit
15:24in the comics Robert Reynolds was a junkie looking for another fix and
15:28they just found the lap broken and took the golden century serum which was meant
15:32to be part of the weapons plus program creating a better version of the
15:36super soldier serum. It was meant to give him the power of a million exploding
15:40sons. He had no idea what it was like he just thought it was drugs. So he took
15:44it looking for a fix in the comics in the process of giving him all that
15:48power. It also fractured his mind because he was already mentally
15:52unstable when he took it creating the completely alternate personality inside
15:56him of the void which is basically his evil persona given
16:00its own identity which also has access to all the same powers that he has
16:04as the century, but also a lot of its own powers to which can take over
16:08his body at any time. So the century is meant to be the good
16:12Robert Reynolds superhero with crazy levels of power. He
16:16has a bunch of different comic book powers. I don't think to do his crazier powers
16:20like teleporting or psychokinesis or telepathy or anything like
16:24that during the movie the keep it more in line with a like Superman level powers
16:28Homelander is another great example from the boys because he was created by
16:32the compound the serum just like century is created with the golden century
16:36serum in the MCU. The difference is that century is good Homelander knows
16:40that he's doing bad things and he doesn't transform when he's doing evil things
16:44the void is like the evil thing that everybody is terrified of in the
16:48centuries deepest fear is actually himself. He's afraid of losing control
16:52but there have been comics race actually made bargains with the century
16:56infused identities you probably recognize Lewis Pullman he's playing
17:00the character we get a much better look at him a nice shiny HD here playing one
17:04Bob in this movie most you probably recognize him as Bob from Top Gun Maverick going from
17:08one Bob to another Bob we don't actually see him go into void
17:12form during the trailer here, but supposedly the way they visualize the void
17:16is going to be slightly different from the actual comics were in the comics is like another
17:20physical identity that you see walking around you can actually have a real fight with
17:24the way they talked about the void in this movie is more like a Jujutsu Kaisen domain
17:28expansion situation where they literally can travel into his mind
17:32and have a fight with him there and yes, a lot of people been asking how
17:36they can stop the century. There's no way that any of them are powerful enough to
17:40actually stop him. He would waste them before the fight even started the twist
17:44there is probably that they don't actually defeat him in a fight. They talk
17:48him down like they talk him back to sanity so that the good part of
17:52himself like the Robert Reynolds century part is able to chill, but
17:56at some point in the movie will pricey him almost go full void later in the
18:00trailer you actually see his century symbol that he wears on himself in his boots
18:04as he's walking down the steps here of what seem like that new avengers
18:08tower would might also be going on is that Val stalling for time so that the
18:12thunderbolts don't stop her so that the century can arrive and save her
18:16by killing them. But I think part of the idea is the century winds up
18:20ultimately being good like we want of getting the Robert Reynolds century version by the end
18:24who makes friends with all the thunderbolts characters theoretically he would also be
18:28on that new avengers team that Val puts together because he was on Norman Osborn's
18:32dark avengers team in the comics, but they all suddenly realize what Val
18:36has done trying to kill them off just as the facility goes on lockdown and
18:40looks like Val's trying to remote terminate everybody there by basically setting
18:44off the facility to self-destruct mode. It also looks like Val sends in her
18:48own goon squad to clean up the mess because they don't wind up killing
18:52each other and she's probably been watching them on closed circuit cameras here like they're still
18:56alive okay send in the squad to clean up the mess as they start to figure out
19:00what they have in common that this is meant to be a trap they show other scenes from different parts
19:04of the movie with Yelena Belova going around capturing other scientists killing
19:08people stealing materials from labs all things that Val needed to create
19:12the century. The reason why someone dot dot dot wants them gone like
19:16Val for instance is that she wants to clean up the dirty mess that she's
19:20left like she doesn't want anybody to know how she created the century like we don't want you
19:24telling anybody informing on me. So the easiest way to keep that secret is to
19:28kill all of you. Then it seems that there's another scene back at Washington DC with
19:32the government you see Loki's scepter in a case on display
19:36obviously doesn't have the mind stone it anymore. Maybe this is happening at a museum
19:40because there's banners in the background at this party to say the battle of New York
19:44so maybe there's like a museum exhibit for the battle of New York from that first
19:48Avengers movie this person next to Val is meant to be her assistant. I think
19:52it's meant to be a version of songbird from the comics Bucky might be there
19:56because he might be working in US Congress doing some job not really clear
20:00what he's doing though, but he's at this party clocking her knowing that
20:04she's doing something super shady is a montage of different scenes of all the different
20:08thunderbolts characters on different missions going on their contract kills that she was
20:12talking about and we get the voiceover speech from Val talking about being brought up
20:16with the belief that their bad guys and good guys, but in reality it's more like
20:20shades of gray like bad guys and worse guys and she is like the less
20:24bad guy as she says in her own mind part of the idea with a lot of marvel
20:28villains just in general is that they don't think of themselves as bells like Thanos did not think
20:32that he was evil. He thought that he was saving the universe by snapping away
20:36half of all life same idea with Val actually doing a bunch of shady stuff, but
20:40she feels like she's actually making things better for the United States that
20:44RIP all the red shirts here that open up on century with their guns notice
20:48all the bullets on the ground here in the holes in his shirt is clothing
20:52but no blood because he's super powerful. He does not
20:56look like he appreciates that. So probably gonna waste all these people
21:00zoom and enhance on those files notice they read the watchtower that
21:04space on the centuries watchtower from the comics you can see it during the
21:08avengers run on top of the avengers tower that's probably what they're calling
21:12this base where they created him and look at all these different heads with the different
21:16hair on them. This could be a reference to them trying the golden century serum
21:20on a bunch of different candidates in this MCU Robert Reynolds might just be the
21:24one that actually survived the treatments that in the yellow titles they
21:28break up throughout the rest the trailer is a careful who you assemble is meant to be a play
21:32on avengers assemble like I said it's a being a lot of the original avengers
21:36movie in the original avengers trailer. If you saw the original avengers
21:40movie in the UK data change the title from the rest the world just because of
21:44copyright reasons. So in the UK the original avengers movie is called
21:48avengers assemble there's a funny scene of Bucky washing his vibranium
21:52arm in the dishwasher than putting it back on. I guess that's one
21:56way to clean his arm his kitchen does look pretty nice. It seems like he's moving
22:00up in the world this scene of him saying what's the plan with US agent behind him is at
22:04the top of the avengers tower. This is after he has avengers assembled
22:08the thunderbolts team when Yelena Belova says this could get messy
22:12that's from earlier in the movie when she's hitting one of the labs grabbing what looks like part of this
22:16serum that Val uses to create the century. This might be an early version
22:20of the golden century serum. Then through the end of the trailer we see sort of
22:24the post credit scene of the trailer with Bucky taking out this convoy winter
22:28soldier style just like he did during the winter soldier movie. Not sure what's going on
22:32here, but this is Val's assistant looking at the monitor noticing that all the lights
22:36are flickering. This is probably when the thunderbolts are coming for Val through the
22:40avengers tower. It seems like towards the end of the movie they fight their way
22:44up to the top of the avengers tower raid style. If you haven't seen
22:48that movie the raid it's amazing when we see century picking up the
22:52symbol that he wears on his belt here like around his chest. The early theory
22:56is that his suit will actually form out of this symbol here like it's
23:00nanotechnology like Tony Stark's later suits the like I said it seems like
23:04these are his boots walking down the steps here also at the avengers tower
23:08like is there all standing there getting ready to confront Val he walks
23:12down in his full century suit we get the title reveal with the asterisk
23:16that make it sound like a bunch of bolts firing. I already explained the logic behind that
23:20and what the current belief is on what that asterisk actually means. Then we get the
23:24funny reveal of winter soldier taking their car out just like he took out
23:28Nick Fury's car using the same type of weapon and I love Yelena Belova's reaction
23:32like all that's not good. You don't want that early theory is that he doesn't show up till
23:36after they escape the facility were century was created with Val's trying to kill
23:40them because he's also separately been tailing Val investigating
23:44her and he learns what she's been doing separately then comes to the facility
23:48after he learns what they're doing and then puts them all together like we need to form
23:52a squad and were going to go after Val to try and stop her because he thinks that she's
23:56the ultimate evil to be stopped. There's a bunch of stuff going on during the trailer here
