00:00Take me out for some hot dogs.
00:04Yee-haw!
00:07We have come back to Texas.
00:09That's right.
00:11We are going to be raw-doggin'.
00:13And you know, I'm down here in the Dallas-Pedroplex in Richardson, Texas
00:18at the Dog House Field Garden.
00:21Mmm, doggy!
00:23Let's see if these hot dogs are worthy of the tank
00:27or the absolute worst.
00:30You don't want to do that.
00:32But let's hope these hot dogs have some Texas taste
00:40and hit it out for them.
00:59All right.
01:15Now, Dog House is a small chain in the Dallas Metroplex.
01:21They even have a food truck.
01:23And we're in the place in Richardson.
01:25And they have plump hot dogs, kind of a jumbo dog.
01:29Now, they toast the bun weirdly.
01:33The bun-to-dog ratio is below average.
01:38I wouldn't say it's awful, but it's not good.
01:40It's not great.
01:42There is good coloring on the dog, good scar marks.
01:45But most important is, how does it actually taste?
01:48Well, we're going to find out right now.
02:18This hot dog is a single.
02:40Almost a double.
02:42But it doesn't quite get the second base.
02:48Now, here's the Chili and Cheese Dog.
02:51They call it the, what do they call that thing?
02:59Hold on.
03:04Let me just look what they call that thing.
03:06They had a special name for the Chili Dog.
03:10Chili Idol.
03:12All right.
03:14Here is the hot dog.
03:15They call it the Chili Idol.
03:17And again, the strange toasting of the bun.
03:21I don't know why you would toast it like this and like this.
03:25Open the bun.
03:26Toast the inside of it.
03:29Again, bun-to-dog ratio, not great.
03:34Let's see how it actually degrades.
03:46It's a good chili.
03:48And I like this zesty, spicy cheese.
03:53This one actually does get to a double.
03:55This time he does get the second.
04:00Now we got the corn dog.
04:02Now, Texas is known for their corn dogs.
04:05Even though a place in Springfield, Illinois has actually invented it.
04:11Cozy Dog.
04:12Check that review out.
04:13I reviewed it.
04:15But this is their mini corn dog.
04:17And the Texas State Fair is where corn dogs really took off.
04:21Let's see how the mini corn dog is.
04:30Good crispiness to the corn dog.
04:33Good crispiness to the breading.
04:37Good taste to the dog.
04:39I'm giving the mini corn dog the double.
04:44Alright.
04:46You know, I'm hitting the road all summer long.
04:49I don't know if you're going to see this in the summer.
04:51But I'm always going to be hitting the road looking for more hot dogs.
04:55So, if you have any place I should go, leave a comment down below.
04:59Email me.
05:00Especially email me.
05:01That always helps.
05:02DM me.
05:04Tell me where I should go next.
05:06As I continue this raw dog journey across the USA and around the world.
05:12So, keep raw dogging.
05:13See you down the road.
05:29Dog!
05:34Take me out for some hot dogs.
05:38Get me one that's only plain.
05:41No mustard or horseradish ketchup.
05:44I'll know what the dog is really about.
05:47And it's hoped that this is a good one.
05:51Maybe a home run or a double.
05:54But if it sucks, it will be a strikeout.
05:57But I got it not.
05:58Brody of my taste buds.
