00:00Now, let's go to China and visit the city of Qianzhou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

00:09Let's watch this.

00:13A city that reflects a rich culture and tradition that can be found in the hinterland of the south coast of China.

00:21That is the city of Qianzhou.

00:25It played an important role in the early Calacalan,

00:28where it was one of the four major ports during the Tang Dynasty.

00:34It was also a major port during the Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty.

00:40And because of its great importance in the country,

00:43it was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

00:48Some of the historical sites here in Qianzhou are the largest Hindu Buddhist Temple,

00:54the Kaiyuan Temple, which is 78,000 square meters wide.

00:59Here in Kaiyuan, you can see the Hall of Heavenly Kings,

01:03Sutra Hall, Daxiong Palace, and the most famous pagoda, the Twin Towers.

01:09Here in China, it's not just the culture but also the different religions that are very inclusive.

01:18Here, there's no discrimination.

01:21No one is taller or shorter.

01:24Here in Qianzhou, you can also find the more than 600-year-old ancient village,

01:30the Jinjiang Hualien Traditional Village.

01:33As you walk through the village, you can see the ancient infrastructure

01:38and the Minyan-style residential red bricks,

01:42mixed with Gothic and Romanesque styles.

01:46When it comes to infrastructure,

01:47the design and quality of the old bridges here are very high,

01:51and they are currently being preserved.

01:53These are the bridges that have passed through each land,

01:58and one of them is the Ancient Anping Bridge and Luoyang Bridge.

02:04The Anping Bridge is 2,255 meters long

02:10and is located in Jinjiang's Anhai Town and Nan'an's Shuitu Town.

02:16Meanwhile, the Luoyang Bridge is 731 meters long

02:21and is located in Wan'an Luoyang District and Luoyang Township.

02:26You can see the four stone statues of the Song Dynasty emperors,

02:33six pagodas, and stone tablets.

02:36I'm the kind of person who appreciates art and appreciates history,

02:42and I think a country should really preserve its history, its culture.

02:49So, I'm very impressed.

02:52The rich history of Jinjiang shows the unity and long-lasting relationship

03:00between China and the United States,

03:02through the extensive and active cooperation between China and the United States.
