Transcript
00:00on today's show.
00:02I met Sean nearly two years ago.
00:04We sort of had a thing.
00:06Then when I found out I was pregnant,
00:08he got in contact with me and he asked
00:10if he could have been the dad and I said,
00:11like, there is a chance you can be the dad.
00:15Tragically, he died in a motorbike accident.
00:18Yeah. What did that do to you?
00:19It broke me.
00:21I just want to know if that's my brother's baby.
00:26Bit of history between you and Sarah there, isn't there, love?
00:29I'm with her ex-partner.
00:30The thing that got me is that he looked my mum and dad in the eye
00:35and told them, that's definitely your grandson.
00:38You tested Rob for the bloodline.
00:40You're 99% sure and so are you.
00:42The DNA test results show that Rob...
00:46I'm sorry I married you. I met you on the bus.
00:48I know I'm church-going and I've been sneaking miniskirts
00:51out of the house for the last few months.
00:53I am having an affair, but it's only on Monday to Saturday
00:55because Sunday is God's day.
00:58She told you she had it off with him the day before you got married.
01:01The day before we got married and she raced off to see him
01:03the day after we got back from honeymoon.
01:25Hello, my friends. Good morning and a big, big welcome to the show.
01:28Our first guest today, Jess, is here for crucial DNA results
01:31on her seven-month-old son, Ethan.
01:33Tragically, the man who Jess claims is Ethan's father,
01:36Sean, was killed in a motorbike accident in April 2016,
01:39but she is desperate to prove to Sean's family that he is, in fact, the dad.
01:42And she says that once DNA proves it, she hopes his family
01:45will finally accept her son as part of this family.
01:48Massive day for this girl. She's been through so much.
01:51She's adamant she knows the truth.
01:52Jess is on The Jeremy Carl Show. That way.
01:58Hello. Nice to see you.
02:01I mean, so many strands to this story.
02:04Really appreciate you being here. Yeah.
02:07We start with Ethan, seven months old. Mm-hm.
02:10We want to talk about the link that you know is right
02:14between him and Sean, how you met Sean.
02:16Just give us the background of the story, really, babe.
02:19I met Sean nearly two years ago through his sister, Stacey.
02:23Stacey? Yeah.
02:25We sort of had a thing.
02:27When you say a thing, what do you mean?
02:30It was like a fling.
02:32It was a couple of weeks.
02:35He went back to Dagenham. Nice.
02:37We stayed friends.
02:39Then when I found out I was pregnant, he got in contact with me
02:42and he asked if he could have been the dad, and I said, like,
02:44there is a chance you can be the dad.
02:46All through the pregnancy, he was really supportive.
02:48When you say a chance, I have to ask you now,
02:50because today we're doing DNA, what do you mean, only a chance?
02:53There's potential of him and...
02:58You told my team you're 99.9% sure that Sean's the dad. Yeah.
03:01You told everybody that, in fact, you told his parents as well, right?
03:04Yeah. Everybody knows.
03:05Tragedy struck. Yeah.
03:07In April, before he passed, he had all scan pictures,
03:11heartbeats, everything of the baby.
03:14And he said to me, like,
03:16when the baby's born, we'll go and get a DNA test done.
03:19And then I found out that he passed.
03:21He died in a... Tragically, he died in a motorbike accident.
03:25Yeah. What did that do to you?
03:26It broke me.
03:27I couldn't accept it.
03:29And I just kept thinking about the baby and...
03:32You say his last words to you were,
03:33next time I see you, babe, we'll have our own baby.
03:35Yeah. He was happy to be a dad. He was.
03:37He was big enough and honest enough to be talking about
03:40doing the right thing. Yeah.
03:42When I found out, I put my hands on my bump and said,
03:44my baby's going to grow up without a dad. Mm-hm.
03:47Now, the family stepped up to the plate.
03:49This is where you need to help me, really,
03:51because the family, at one point, stepped up to the plate.
03:53But it would be fair to say, however many of you changed
03:56your stories, and it happens the whole time on this show,
03:58Stacey and you are now at Loggerheads, but you were mates.
04:00Why? Why are you at Loggerheads?
04:03That's a long story. Why?
04:05Well, that's what we're doing.
04:07I'm trying to get to a point where we get the truth,
04:10certainly for your family, Stace, most definitely for Ethan,
04:13most definitely for you, for Sean's mum.
04:16You have doubts, don't you, Stace? Yeah.
04:18Why?
04:20Oh, I don't know, it's hard.
04:22I believed he was at first, but then there was so many
04:25different stories that he weren't...
04:27I've had messages from Jessa and herself, she wasn't sure.
04:30Obviously, we had a bit of an argument.
04:32I took a step back, and now I don't think the baby
04:35looks like him at all.
04:37She... You told my team, I'm 99.9% sure, you say...
04:42You told my team, and I'm doing it,
04:44trying to do it as correctly as possible, Stace,
04:45she said she's told other men they're the dad.
04:47Yeah. Is that true?
04:49That's what we... Other men?
04:51You just told me there was only two in it,
04:53and that you're 99.9% sure, so what the hell are you doing?
04:55With the greatest respect, I mean, everybody's grieving,
04:58I understand that, what are you doing telling other men
04:59that they might be the father as well?
05:00What is this, some sort of game? What's the truth?
05:02No, the truth is there is only the potential of two.
05:05But then we add in another bit, Stace, as well,
05:07which I know upsets you and the family.
05:08We've got Rob, your brother, who visits this child.
05:14He comes and sees him every day.
05:16Who believes, without any shadow of a doubt,
05:18that this kid, there's Rob, is his nephew.
05:23And in his own words, Rob, you're on camera now,
05:25I think, you know, see him as an extension of your brother,
05:27and you've taken that on board in a positive way.
05:30This guy, because obviously Sean is no longer with us,
05:32he passed, we've done the DNA on Rob,
05:34and that's how the family bloodline would work.
05:36It's difficult, because I don't quite know why everybody...
05:40I mean, I understand why the family have stepped back,
05:41but if you listen to what Stacey just said then,
05:43she said, we had an argument, then I stepped back,
05:46then I had doubts.
05:47What was the argument about?
05:51Nobody wants to tell me what the argument was about.
05:53I'm trying to help, no?
05:54All right, if you don't want to tell me, that's fine.
05:56If you don't want to tell me what the argument was about,
05:57that's fine, but I'm trying to do what's right
06:00to get the story.
06:01Do you understand, Stace?
06:02Yeah, I understand, but that's just a bit too personal.
06:05We don't, I don't want to talk about that, that's past.
06:07So for you and other members of the family,
06:10there are doubts now, babe, yeah?
06:13I just want to know if that's my brother's baby.
06:16And if it is, what would that mean?
06:18I just mean a hell of a lot.
06:20All right, are you all right to stay there a sec?
06:21I'm just going to go and speak to her.
06:22Give her a little round of applause.
06:23APPLAUSE
06:32You're all right, babe.
06:38I'm not trying to push you on the other at all,
06:40I understand that, I'm just...
06:43If you'd said to me, I had doubts, then we fell out,
06:45but you said we fell out, then I had doubts,
06:47and I just wonder whether your doubts
06:49are on the basis of you falling out.
06:50No, no, no.
06:52While she was pregnant, there were some doubts,
06:55because there was messages sent to a few people,
06:58her saying, no, this is the doubt,
07:00I only said that for other reasons.
07:03What did your brother think?
07:05He wasn't sure, that's why he said at the end...
07:08Well, it's interesting, because she said,
07:10you know, he was saying, that's my baby,
07:11next time we see each other, we'll have a baby,
07:13and yet in the same sentence she says,
07:15he said, we'll have to do a DNA test.
07:17You don't do a DNA test unless you're absolutely,
07:19you know, 100% kosher.
07:21He knew, obviously, that was possible.
07:25There's a... This is a difficult one, isn't it?
07:29She also had some of your brother's ashes.
07:32Yep. For the baby.
07:34Yep.
07:35You're grieving the loss of your brother.
07:38I guess, Ethan, as Rob said,
07:40it could be like the link for you all.
07:43Sean would live on somehow.
07:45Well, he's got two boys as well, so...
07:47But this is massively important.
07:49Definitely.
07:50Are you and she not repairable?
07:53Or, I mean, let's say she's absolutely right.
07:55She says, and I quote 99.9% sure,
07:57let's say she's dead right and Ethan is your brother's.
08:01He's blood-related to you at that point.
08:04Does that mean that you and the mother
08:05will put this right for the sake of the child?
08:07Yeah, definitely.
08:09Why won't you come out there with me?
08:11I just don't want to be on the stage.
08:13Why?
08:14For the results later on.
08:15OK. Later on, because it's so massive,
08:18and I don't... Listen, this isn't about conflict,
08:20this is about the truth.
08:22I'd like you to be there,
08:23because I think it's really, really important, yeah?
08:25OK. We'll leave you to calm down,
08:27talk to Graham and Sarah.
08:28After the break, we're going to meet Rob, the brother.
08:29This is the brother who visits the kid every single day.
08:31This is the brother who's 100% absolutely kosher,
08:33believes the child is his.
08:34We're back after this break. Don't go anywhere.
08:35I've got no grievance with the girl.
08:37I just want to know if that's Sean's baby.
08:38I've told my team she sleeps with every Tom, Dick and Harry.
08:40Yeah.
08:41Would that colour your view?
08:43To do with the rumours that's going around.
08:44What rumours?
08:45How many she's told that is that child's head.
08:48How many has she told?
08:49What I can gather is seven.
08:55Do you need to find out who is the father of the baby?
08:57Do you need that all-important DNA test?
09:00If you're 18 or over and you want to be considered for the show,
09:02text the word TALK TODAY plus your name to 63334.
09:06Text COST25p plus one standard rate message.
09:08You can call my team today.
09:10It's 09011.
09:12It's 123456.
09:14Call COST25p plus your network access charge.
09:17Or email TALKATITV.COM to get in touch with one of my team.
09:29Thank you very much indeed.
09:29Welcome back for the great talking to Jess and also Stacey.
09:32We go back.
09:33Stacey's watching from the groom
09:34and I said she'd come on later for results.
09:36You and Sean, you said it was just a thing.
09:38It was not serious, but there was feeling there.
09:40There was intimacy.
09:42It was between the two of them.
09:43But you, I repeat, I'm 99.9% sure that the child is yours.
09:46There obviously has been a hiccup, Stace.
09:48We've touched upon that.
09:48You don't want to talk about it,
09:49but I think both of you share the same desire,
09:52which is to get the truth for Ethan,
09:53to get the truth for Sean's memory, and to go from there.
09:55As I said before the break, your brother, Stace, Rob,
09:59visits the child every single day.
10:01Has been a real support to you.
10:03Let's get Rob on the Jeremy Carl show that way.
10:05How are you?
10:17Not too bad.
10:20Talk to me.
10:21You said, as any brother would,
10:23that you were devastated when you were told
10:26that Sean had passed.
10:27Of course you would.
10:28And you've struggled to come to terms with it.
10:29Can I say something to you without you
10:33taking it the wrong way?
10:35If your own brother wasn't sure that this was his kid,
10:37I absolutely respect and admire your statement
10:39that you're stepping into his shoes
10:41and doing what he would have done.
10:43How come you're so sure and others aren't, Rob?
10:46Well, I'm just basically 50-50 at the moment.
10:4950-50?
10:50Why are you bonding with a kid
10:51that you're only half sure is related to your family?
10:53At the moment, I just want to know if it's my brother's.
10:57That's all I want to know.
10:59When I look at him, I see Sean, but I need the closure.
11:01I miss him every day.
11:03And you make a point which a lot of people have made,
11:05which is that his name is being ruined by the rumours.
11:08What do you mean by this?
11:10By family members.
11:13Saying he's not his and I don't know.
11:15I've done a split screen.
11:16I hope you don't mind.
11:17That's Sean.
11:20That's the baby.
11:23That's Ethan.
11:25Anybody would say massive, massive similarities,
11:27wouldn't they?
11:30What's your mum called?
11:32Rachel.
11:32Rachel's on the Jeremy Carr Show.
11:34That way.
11:41Rachel, welcome to the show.
11:42Welcome.
11:44Tell me from your point of view,
11:45from your daughter's point of view,
11:46what do you believe to be the truth?
11:48I believe that is Sean's baby.
11:51You know, 99.9%.
11:55Nobody is throwing anything here.
11:57There's obviously been huge emotion
12:01and, you know, it's become difficult
12:05because other people have become involved.
12:07Yeah, that's right.
12:09How difficult has this been for your daughter?
12:12Well, she's getting in threats and everything, you know,
12:16and Jessica's quite a quiet person.
12:18She bottles everything up and just people just,
12:22you know, interfering and just...
12:23Who's interfering?
12:24Um, Stacey, Sarah, and...
12:29A bit of history between you and Sarah, though,
12:30isn't there, love?
12:32Which is what?
12:33I'm with her ex-partner.
12:36But they've split up beforehand, so...
12:38Now, why did you make that noise?
12:41You are with Sarah's ex?
12:44Yeah.
12:45Ian.
12:46Who, by the way, Sarah told my team,
12:48I hate Jessica, her and Ian's relationship is a joke.
12:50She sleeps with every Tom, Dick and Harry.
12:52That's why nobody knows who the father of the baby is.
12:57Stacey and Sarah have said a lot to this team
13:00over the last 12 hours,
13:01but as with situations that happen,
13:05they can't...
13:06Could you go back to them in the green room, please?
13:08Are they in the pod?
13:14It's true, isn't it?
13:15What's that?
13:16About Ian.
13:17What about Ian?
13:19He's with Jessica, isn't he?
13:20Yep.
13:21The day after he walked out of my house.
13:25Does that mean that you judge her in other things
13:27because of that?
13:28Serious question.
13:29I've got no grievance with the girl,
13:31I just wanna know if that's Sean's baby.
13:32You told my team she sleeps with every Tom, Dick and Harry?
13:34Yeah.
13:36But from that, you understand what I'm saying.
13:39Would that colour your view
13:41of how many potential fathers there could be?
13:43No, it's to do with the rumours that's going around.
13:45What rumours?
13:47From all different people,
13:47how many she's told that is that child's dad.
13:50How many has she told?
13:52What I can gather is seven.
13:55That's...
13:57God.
13:58Can you come out here, please?
13:59We need to talk about this.
14:01I'll look after you, look at me.
14:02Promise you, come on.
14:04Yeah?
14:04Give him a round of applause.
14:05Do you want me to share this, please?
14:07You all right, sweetheart?
14:11We need to get to the bottom of this.
14:12Emma, come over here then, we should be at work.
14:16So you know that, right?
14:17Yeah, yeah, I know you know that.
14:18I know you know that, don't I?
14:20You all right?
14:25Have you told seven other men?
14:26No.
14:28She says you have.
14:29How many then?
14:31Three.
14:33So explain that to me as a mother of a daughter
14:34who uses Ebenard time.
14:36She comes out here, she tells my team
14:37she's 99% sure this poor boy who passed is the father.
14:40That winds his family up
14:41because they seem to know other things.
14:44Then she says it's two, now she says it's three.
14:46Why would you tell three men that the father of your baby
14:48if there's a 99% chance that Sean's the father?
14:51That's sick, why would you do that?
14:53You've got to answer that, mum.
14:55No, it's just everybody just assuming,
14:57because, like, she's got a lot of-
14:59No, no, no, I'm not being horrible.
15:02I understand that.
15:02Your daughter says to my team,
15:04I'm 99.9% sure that Sean who passed
15:07is the father of my son, Ethan.
15:09Do you know who I feel most sorry for is this kid.
15:12This kid here is trying to do exactly the right thing.
15:14What if they're right and she's a liar
15:17and he's been bonding and helping out with the baby?
15:19Why would she allow that to happen?
15:20Do the other three come the other days when he's not there?
15:23Then why do you let him get involved?
15:25Or is he a nice bloke from a good family
15:27that's put his neck on the line?
15:28That's what worries me about this.
15:30And if you could give me something, I'd be all right,
15:32but I'm not.
15:32Rob's always been there from day one.
15:34But what if Sean's not the dad?
15:36You haven't answered the question.
15:37Your daughter's told three men they're the father.
15:40Right, at the beginning,
15:44Stacey said it is definitely Sean's baby.
15:48No, no, I don't care.
15:49Please don't take this wrong.
15:50I don't care.
15:51How many potential fathers?
15:53There was only two.
15:54Why did you tell three men then?
15:55Answer the question.
15:56We're not going anywhere.
15:57I was in a relationship with the other boy at the time
16:01and he wanted to raise the baby.
16:03So you told him there was a chance he was the father?
16:05Yeah.
16:07I think that's clever.
16:09Is that what your problem is with this, Stace?
16:11Which is true?
16:13Talk.
16:15I don't know what to say.
16:17That is what the whole thing is.
16:19I'm not over.
16:20And all I can say is if he comes back,
16:22he's not Sean's, all I can say is sorry.
16:24You're 99.9% sure he is, though.
16:26But there's still that 0.1% chance that he's not.
16:30She told us in her notes that you're 100% sure, didn't you?
16:33Yeah, 99.9.
16:36I'm sure I just said 99.9.
16:39The thing that got me is that you looked my mum and dad
16:42in the eye and told them that's definitely your grandson.
16:45You should have said it's 50-50 or not that it is.
16:50And you accepted his ashes without knowing fully.
16:53No, she got given them, but she didn't ask for them.
16:56But she could have said not right now,
16:58not until we've done the DNA.
16:59That would have been the right thing to do.
17:02Yeah, but she didn't ask for the ashes.
17:03I'm not saying she did, but she took them.
17:06Where are they?
17:07They were up in our stuff,
17:09so I can give them back to Stacey if he's not.
17:12If he's not, you're 99.9% sure he is.
17:16What about you, Sarah, what's your view?
17:18Did you nick her boyfriend?
17:21I got with him after they split up.
17:23One day after.
17:24It wasn't one day.
17:25He told me it was a lot longer.
17:27No, it was one day.
17:28He moved out of my house on the 25th,
17:29the day you got with him.
17:31No, he told me you hadn't been together for weeks.
17:33Weeks, that's why he was still sleeping in my bed.
17:38Of course.
17:41I've got a statement, I think, from Ian.
17:46When we lost Sean, I was there for Jess.
17:49I'm 99.9% sure that Sean is Ethan's father.
17:52You haven't told Ian he might be the father, have you?
17:54That might have made it up.
17:55The only reason there is the smallest dad
17:56is because of all the rumours that are going around.
17:58So your current boyfriend thinks there's only rumours going around
18:01because there are rumours going around,
18:02not because you had sex with more than one man.
18:04Everyone has been sticking their noses into our business
18:06and having their say.
18:07This means the world to me and Jess.
18:08Ethan looks so much like Sean,
18:09but if it comes about that he isn't the dad,
18:11I will be devastated.
18:12I will never abandon Jess or Ethan.
18:13I think it's totally wrong that Stacey and Sarah
18:15have been telling people Sean didn't father this child.
18:18I would expect a full apology from them both
18:19when they're proved wrong.
18:20The most important thing is Ethan.
18:21That's why we're there today, to find out the truth.
18:24That's the most important thing.
18:28I just want to do this to you,
18:30I just want to do this statement as well,
18:31because I think it's very relevant.
18:33Robert Senior, your dad.
18:35Yep.
18:37Your dad.
18:38When we first saw Ethan, it was really heartbreaking for us
18:40because he looks like Sean.
18:41We really want the DNA to prove this is Sean's child
18:43because it will carry my son's legacy.
18:46We're so proud of Rob for coming to the show
18:47and providing that DNA sample.
18:49Jess is a wonderful mother.
18:50We've only seen Ethan a couple of times,
18:52but if DNA proves he's Sean's child,
18:53we are ready to play a massive part in his life.
18:55It's just been Sean's first birthday since his death,
18:58and it would finally mean so much to have some closure.
19:01The point of all of this is to get the truth.
19:02You all right, Rob?
19:0599.9% sure, yeah?
19:07What does this mean to you, to find out the truth?
19:09Everything.
19:11What about you, Stace?
19:15It would just put a stop to everything.
19:17Do you think that Sean was the father?
19:19Do you?
19:21No.
19:23Beautiful kid.
19:24We've tested Rob for the bloodline.
19:26You're 99% sure, and so are you.
19:29The DNA test results show that...
19:33Rob.
19:38You're not related to the baby.
19:39Oh!
19:41Hold your...
19:44Sorry, Rob, that's just...
19:48Where's Caleb?
19:48That's the point, that kid has been there.
19:5099.9%, three, two, one, whatever.
19:53That's terrible, man.
19:55Rob.
19:56My wife has gone every day to see this child.
19:58Come here, are you all right?
19:59Go that way.
19:59Oh, no.
20:00No, sorry, she can do the helper down there.
20:01Rob, mate.
20:04Watch the wires, please.
20:05The girl's got crutches, yeah?
20:08Rob, Rob, buddy, buddy, come here, please, mate.
20:10Come here.
20:11Rob, please stop.
20:12Your sister's can't get to you quick enough, babe.
20:14Who are you, darling?
20:15Sorry.
20:16Oh, my guttings.
20:17Who are you?
20:18I've got this compartment.
20:19Oh, my God.
20:19Oh, my God.
20:20Oh, my God.
20:21Oh, my God.
20:22Oh, my God.
20:23Oh, my God.
20:24I'm so sorry.
20:25I know.
20:25I'm moving.
20:26It's been an odd in this child's life, hasn't it?
20:28Oh, my God, what?
20:33Where's the mother gone?
20:34She's not followed, I guess.
20:35No, she's not.
20:36No, no, no, no, she's not.
20:38I've got one tongue for me, Rob.
20:41That's all right.
20:43Rob, come here, buddy, please.
20:44You've been so good to come here and do this, mate.
20:46I know it's difficult.
20:47Come, come, come.
20:48Come on, please.
20:49It's your sister.
20:50I can't move.
20:51Rob, Rob.
20:52Rob, look at me, mate.
20:53Look at me.
20:55Your brother would have been proud of what you've done.
20:56Look at me.
20:57Look at me.
21:04Talk to her.
21:06I'm sorry.
21:10I can't speak at the minute.
21:12I can't speak.
21:13He can't speak to you, Jess.
21:15You shouldn't go around telling people you're 99% sure,
21:17and you're sure as eggs is eggs.
21:18You shouldn't go around telling three men they're the father.
21:20Have you got a reaction, Mum?
21:22I'm devastated.
21:25I'm really devastated.
21:27Stacey, I'm sorry.
21:30Told you, didn't I?
21:31I knew.
21:32I know.
21:33So now you need to find out that baby's dad,
21:35because it's not fair on him.
21:43Can I ask you something?
21:46When you heard that Sean had passed,
21:48you said that you were devastated,
21:50but then at the beginning of this,
21:52we described it as, I don't know.
21:55Can we sit Rob down, Greg?
21:57He looks really, sorry.
21:58He's gonna fall.
21:59Not here, somewhere.
22:00Let's take.
22:01Would you like to take a seat here?
22:02Come on.
22:06Is this wishful thinking on your behalf?
22:07And I'm being serious.
22:08This family, I'm not being nasty,
22:10but you wanted it to be, Sean.
22:11You probably.
22:13Come here.
22:16She hasn't run away.
22:17She's faced you.
22:18I'll say that for her.
22:20I'm sorry.
22:23It's fine.
22:23Just for the sake of that little boy, just.
22:25Do you not know who the father is?
22:27I want the truth.
22:28Are you sure?
22:29Why'd you say three then?
22:30I don't know,
22:31because I was in a relationship with him.
22:32You can't tell people you're with
22:33that they're the father to your baby.
22:34Your mum knows that.
22:35Everybody knows that.
22:38Doesn't it make it easier that he's not?
22:40Not for these people.
22:41Because for these people, and here's the thing,
22:43and I'm not even talking about the ashes.
22:44I'm talking about, I hope I say the right thing.
22:49If he'd been Sean's, that was Sean living on, wasn't it?
22:53He's just going to live on in his other two boys.
22:56You're genuinely shocked, aren't you, Mum?
22:59I was certain that was going to be Sean's baby.
23:04You've got to give her the ashes back, you know.
23:07Where do you go from here?
23:10I don't know.
23:11I just want to get on.
23:13I need to try and grieve for my brother.
23:15Now, knowing it's not,
23:17I can do that and concentrate on his two boys that need me.
23:22Also, can I ask one thing as well?
23:24Now we know the answer,
23:26I don't want no more threatening things going to happen to Jess.
23:30It's all over from today.
23:32It's all over.
23:33You live your life, I live mine.
23:35But for that little boy's sake,
23:37he deserved to know who his dad is.
23:39You know I love that little boy, so he deserves to know.
23:45But thank you for finally doing it.
23:51I couldn't say better than what you've done,
23:53and I will say she did come and she did face it.
23:55Nice to meet you.
23:57Never easy.
23:58Thanks ever so much.
23:59Thanks for coming on.
24:00Back after this break.
24:01Don't go anywhere.
24:02I'm sorry I unmarried you.
24:03I met you on the bus.
24:04I know I'm church-going,
24:05and I've been sneaking miniskirts out of the house
24:07for the last few months.
24:08I am having an affair,
24:09but it's only on Monday to Saturday,
24:11cos Sunday is God's day.
24:18Have you been accused of cheating?
24:20Well, you need to prove your innocence with a lie detector.
24:23If you're 18 or over and you want to be considered for the show,
24:26text the word TALK TODAY plus your name to 63334.
24:29Text costs 25 pence plus one standard rate message.
24:32You can call my team today.
24:33It's 09011.
24:35It's 123456.
24:37Calls cost 25 pence plus your network access charge.
24:40Or email talkatitv.com to get in touch with one of my team.
24:51Thank you very much indeed. Welcome back.
24:53My next guest today, Alan, is here for all-important DNA
24:56and lie detector results with his wife, Louise.
24:58Now, after discovering flirty emails...
25:00Love that. Flirty emails to another man.
25:02..Al says Louise confessed to having a three-month affair,
25:05including cheating, the day before she and Alan got married.
25:08ALL GASP
25:09Alan says she later retracted this,
25:11but he's adamant she's lying about something,
25:13and he's here, demanding the truth.
25:15He also wants to know if the youngest child is his.
25:17This guy is in bits.
25:18It's Alan's on the Jeremy Carr Show. Give him a round of applause.
25:21CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
25:28Do you want me to crouch a bit?
25:30What? Do you want me to crouch so you don't look so, er...
25:33Do you want me to crouch because I'm short?
25:38How are you? You all right?
25:40I'm a little bit, er, confused, maybe.
25:42You're confused? Yes.
25:43So am I, mate. I've been doing this for a long time.
25:45Welcome to the show.
25:46Alan, 37. That's your wedding suit.
25:48Yes, this is... No, actually, this is not my wedding suit,
25:51but this is, er...
25:53HE LAUGHS
25:57You wear a suit? I always wear it.
25:59Not in bed? Not in bed, no.
26:00You do, you wear your birthday suit, see?
26:02Oh, yeah, there you go, yeah. See, big Al?
26:04Where are you looking at my cards from?
26:06How did you meet Louise?
26:08Well, I'd just moved into a new area, found somewhere to live.
26:12I got on the bus one day to go to church,
26:14I'm a regular churchgoer, I believe in church.
26:17I was on the bus and I noticed a girl at the back of the bus.
26:20Did you? And I kept noticing her, she was a lovely little girl.
26:23Lovely little girl on the back of the bus?
26:25Very petite. But I was going to church.
26:27When you say petite, when you're going to church,
26:29you can't try on with somebody if you're going to church.
26:31Exactly, but I thought in my head, I thought,
26:33if she gets off at the church, I'm going to ask her for a date.
26:35And she got off the bus at the same stop as me.
26:37Did she? Did she go in the church? Yeah, we both went in the church.
26:40She went in the same church as you and you thought,
26:42this is a message from God. It was from God.
26:45She was on me bus, now she's got off at the same... Brilliant.
26:48Yeah, yeah. You didn't even have to pray for it, it just happened.
26:52Dropped into my lap. I've had a nice laugh. It what?
26:55Dropped into my lap. Oi, oi.
26:57Turned out we sat... But you fell in love with her. Yes.
27:00But you are a religious man, you're a Mormon. Yes, that's right.
27:03And you don't believe in sex before marriage? No, no.
27:05We did the whole, you know, dating, no sex before marriage,
27:07no living together before marriage.
27:09But you did say that ultimately, which I absolutely love about you,
27:11he said, I don't believe in sex before marriage, I'm a Mormon,
27:14but in the end it became too difficult,
27:16so we had sex twice, four days before the wedding.
27:19APPLAUSE
27:26You can only put up with it so long before it gets too heavy.
27:30Now, a year after you got married, you saw an email.
27:34Yes, it was literally...
27:36A text message came through to my wife. So it wasn't an email?
27:39No, it was an email. She said, can you get that message for me?
27:42She thought it was a text message. Oh, right, OK.
27:44And I opened it, and it was an email in a hidden folder.
27:47And it was a response, and she wrote to another guy,
27:50she said, I miss our rides together.
27:52I hope I can see you again soon.
27:54I miss our rides together? Oh, yes.
27:56Did he go on the bus...? And a smiley face with ten kisses.
27:59Did he go on the bus as well? Well, he wasn't on the same bus.
28:02See? You, see? I'm watching, see? Oh, yeah.
28:06So you implied, you thought from that,
28:08oh, she's not a religious person, or has she been rushing around England
28:11having sex with everybody? Well, yeah, you know, obviously,
28:14I asked her about who this person was.
28:16You said her behaviour changed, actually, after that.
28:18Yes. She started to wear short skirts.
28:20No, no, what it was, after we got married,
28:23she was sneaking miniskirts out of the house,
28:26telling me she was going, caring for some of her family,
28:29and sneaking sexy clothes out to go and wear.
28:31She was out all day, and then she'd come back at night-time.
28:34She's a bit of a one, this one that goes to church, isn't she?
28:37Well, you know, I don't think she's as religious as maybe I might be.
28:44You're brilliant, you are.
28:46You're absolutely barking mad, aren't you?
28:49Now, then, listen to this, then she confessed to three-month affair.
28:52No, well, what she confessed to...
28:54Are you going to agree with anything I say?
28:56No, I think they gave you the misfortune.
28:59Right, I'll tell you what, you tell me. There you go, what do you think?
29:02Basically, she turned around and said, every day, Monday to Saturday,
29:05obviously, Sunday's God's day, but every day, Monday to Saturday,
29:08she'd be going out having an affair with this guy.
29:10Sorry, sorry, sorry. I love this.
29:12I would never make this show about religion.
29:15I'm sorry I married you, I met you on the bus, I know I'm church-going,
29:18and I've been sneaking miniskirts out of the house for the last few months.
29:21I am having an affair, but it's only on Monday to Saturday,
29:24cos Sunday is God's day.
29:28Or, in her mind... No, no, no, no.
29:30Or, in her mind, it's the day I need to damn well rest,
29:34cos I'm knackered for the rest of the week.
29:36Why didn't you leave her at that point?
29:39We were already a child by then.
29:41We had a three-month-old baby, my gorgeous little baby girl Sky.
29:44You were so nice, you were. He did a private DNA, didn't you?
29:47Yes, he did. And you were the father. And I am the father.
29:49I knew I was anyway, cos she's gorgeous, just like me, so...
29:53You were my favourite guest for absolutely ages by then.
29:58APPLAUSE
30:01Now, then she retracts the story.
30:04Yeah, that was... She told me this for three months.
30:07She led me to believe for three months long that...
30:09She told you she had it off with him the day before you got married.
30:12The day before we got married, and she raced off to see him
30:15the day after we got back from honeymoon.
30:17Dirty, girty.
30:19And then she retracts it all and says, I made it up.
30:22Yes, she said it was a lie. All of it was a complete lie.
30:25How do you deal with all of this?
30:27Um, I'm easygoing guy, I have to just let it go underneath me.
30:32No, it's over the top. Over the top, yeah.
30:34I'm tall, so you know what I mean.
30:36Now, the next bit is a little bit contentious.
30:38Certainly the man on camera four will find this difficult to handle.
30:42You said that you're not so sure she was a virgin now.
30:45She'd already made out she was a virgin.
30:47Yes, she said she was a virgin when we met,
30:49but there was no hymen there. Sorry?
30:51Hymen.
30:53Isn't that what you sing in church?
30:55No, it's...
30:58It's a door God puts there, so you know you're buying...
31:01A door God puts there?
31:03So you know you're not getting used goods.
31:06That's maybe a bit too far.
31:08A door God puts there, so...
31:10This is his words, so you're not using used goods.
31:16I am... You are my favourite guest ever.
31:19I have never...
31:22Now, can I just...
31:24Although we've sent Graham into absolute spirals today in the briefing,
31:29obviously most people would know about the hymen,
31:32and in many cases that would...
31:35..break during intercourse, but...
31:37You need to put some pressure, yes.
31:39All right. But plenty of instances, ladies,
31:42where other things can cause that to go up.
31:45Not rude, horse riding, gymnastics, this is fat.
31:47Is that right? Is that right, ladies?
31:49Why are you nodding? Why do you know about that?
31:52It is true, isn't it? Right.
31:54Yeah. There you are, Graham.
31:56So, although you're not sure about the whole hymen thing...
32:01Yes. ..then we move it on.
32:03Then she has another baby. Yes.
32:05Why? Well, we wanted a second baby.
32:08We were trying for a second baby.
32:10We were staying in a hotel on our anniversary called The Willows.
32:13You were staying in a hotel called The Willows? Yes.
32:16And if you'd had a curry, it would have been the wind in The Willows.
32:19It's getting worse. It's awful. It's all rubbish.
32:23Right, sorry. Can I ask you a question?
32:25Cos we're doing a DNA on the second baby.
32:27Do you trust this woman on a serious note?
32:29Yes, I do now. I'm not so sure.
32:31And why are we here? Well...
32:33Cos you don't know whether... Not me.
32:35So you don't know whether the story's true or it's not true,
32:37you don't know whether the kid's yours or not yours?
32:39What if she was telling the truth and she didn't have an affair?
32:42I want to know why did she lie about sleeping with...
32:45Why did she lie she slept with this guy?
32:47You know, I just want the truth or I might take the hoof.
32:50You're a poet, you didn't even know it.
32:52Why did she lie that she slept with this guy?
32:54I want the truth or I'll be on the hoof.
32:57That's the saying, on the hoof. Do you know what that means?
33:03I swear to God, I love you.
33:06We love you too. You were on our telly every day.
33:09Get a job. Yeah, well...
33:11No, listen, so if the baby's not yours... Yes.
33:14Are you going out the doors?
33:17Probably not, but the baby is mine because, you know,
33:20the dates, she was with me every day.
33:22And if she's a cheat, will you leave by your feet?
33:27No, we'll just kiss and greet and off we go
33:29because I've already forgiven her for it.
33:31So, you know, it's a strange situation.
33:33What's her name again? Louise.
33:35My wonderful wife, Louise.
33:37Nobody could ever beat you in your shoes on this show.
33:39Give him a round of applause.
33:42Louise is on The Jeremy Cowe Show.
33:52I have no idea why people are applauding you.
33:55You had a three-month affair.
33:57No, you didn't, you retracted it. Did you have an affair?
34:00No, because I only told him that to stop all the accusations.
34:04Oh, lots of accusations? Yes. Were there? When?
34:07When they were telling him.
34:09No, but was he always accusing you then?
34:11He didn't accuse me until someone told him.
34:14Oh, right, rumours. He did a private DNA on the eldest.
34:18Yes, and then I said to him, before the test came back,
34:21that I lied about the three-month affair.
34:24Did you have an affair? No.
34:26Is the second child his? The second child...
34:28So you've never cheated on him? No.
34:30So you love him? I love him with all my heart.
34:33And his trainers? And he's my first love.
34:36Is he? He took my virginity.
34:39Could we move away from that?
34:41You didn't go horse-riding before then? No.
34:45I don't think I will ever, William,
34:47recover from, that's the door God puts there to avoid being accused.
34:51Have you ever heard that before? Never heard that before.
34:53Are you all right? I think so.
34:55My favourite is, Graham didn't believe that.
34:57I would like Graham at the side of the stage at some point,
34:59but we're going to start with the DNA.
35:01Your divorce was something to do with breaking the hymen
35:03and that's where you got tied to the bus driver.
35:07What?! Maybe the bus broke the hymen
35:09and that's where you're getting confused.
35:15Come here.
35:16You said to me in the briefing,
35:18that's ridiculous about the hymen.
35:20I said it's ridiculous because we're living in the 21st century.
35:24What was the hymen relevant in the 21st century?
35:27I didn't bring it up, this gentleman's just,
35:29he's obsessed with the hymen.
35:31He called it the door, he called it the door that God put there.
35:34No, no, no, no, you're obsessed with the hymen.
35:37Listen, it's been lovely seeing you, go and do some aftercare.
35:40Right, anyway, DNA, DNA, nine-month-old baby,
35:44you did the private one,
35:46I'm just going to drop paper all over the place, you all right?
35:48I'm fine, I'm good.
35:50This is the youngest child, the DNA test results show that Alan,
35:53she's right, the child is yours, biologically, give him a round of applause.
35:56CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
36:02Don't you just love him, isn't he just lovely?
36:05That's what I love about him.
36:07So you told him that you were cheating,
36:10then you told him that you hadn't and you'd made it up.
36:13Yes. Since the start of your relationship with Alan,
36:15have you passionately kissed any other person?
36:17You said no, why did you say no?
36:19Because I was telling the truth.
36:21Tess says you're a liar, love.
36:26You can all think what you want.
36:29Since the start of your relationship with Alan,
36:31have you had sexual contact with any other person?
36:33You said no, this test says you're a liar, darling.
36:41Alan, the joking stops.
36:43This test says your wife lied on all three questions.
36:46And I, you know, let's get serious a minute.
36:50You're a very decent guy
36:53and it isn't for anybody to tell you
36:57anything other than the truth,
36:59but I saw your face when I read that.
37:01Yeah, the last one was...
37:03You said that you... I expected the first two.
37:05What? I expected the first two.
37:08The thing I have to say to you, darling, is this,
37:10I'm not shouting and I'm not screaming.
37:12The very least you expect...
37:14Why is she running away?
37:16She's very emotional.
37:18What about you, with the greatest of respect?
37:20I can control my emotions.
37:22We've still got two lovely children together, they're both mine,
37:25so, you know, we should have a good marriage.
37:27I'm not... I'm just saying that she should at least be honest.
37:30Shall we go and talk to her? I think, yes, come on.
37:32All right.
37:39Nice of you.
37:41You're so nice.
37:43I think this was maybe her way of admitting this to me.
37:47Maybe, maybe. Thanks, Graham.
37:50Darling, he's such a lovely guy, all we wanted...
37:53I wouldn't do anything with anyone.
37:56Why did you fail the test, then?
37:58I don't know.
38:00It doesn't matter if this was your way of confessing, then, you know...
38:05I came on this show to prove it to you.
38:09It's up to you what you want to do.
38:11He loves you. I hope you heard what he said.
38:13He just wants you to look...
38:15We still have two beautiful children, we should have a great marriage.
38:18I've already forgiven you for all of this.
38:20Why did you... After I've forgiven you, we put it aside,
38:24why turn around and say that you didn't do it?
38:27To stop the excitation. I've told you that.
38:30No, no, no, you've never seen me be so...
38:32Listen, it probably...
38:35There are all sorts of people that make mistakes and things work out.
38:38He's a nice guy, you don't have to do it now, but I will never have.
38:41And just hear me out.
38:43I know some people don't like this.
38:45It's very easy to cry and run away, isn't it?
38:47This guy has been dignified, he's been honest, he's been genuine.
38:51Maybe not now, maybe with Steph and the team later.
38:53Tell him the truth, because he loves you,
38:56and you can draw a line in the sand and bring your family up.
38:58And if you made a mistake, look at me, you won't be the first,
39:00you sure as eggs his eggs won't be the last, OK?
39:03That's the most important thing.
39:04So I suspect the best thing to do would be to sit down,
39:07talk about it in a calm environment,
39:09away from the audience and the cameras, all right?
39:11Yes? All right.
39:13OK, thank you, Jeremy.
39:15Absolutely my favourite guest ever in the history of the world.
39:18It's been a pleasure meeting you.
39:20The pleasure's been mine. Back after the break, don't go anywhere.

40:02CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
40:09Welcome back, my next guest today, Terry, is here with his wife,
40:12Anne, who retired from being a primary school teacher
40:14and became a glamour model.
40:16CHEERING
40:18She's 64. After paying for Anne's first photo shoot,
40:20Terry says he's never looked back and says their relationship
40:23and sex life has never been better.
40:25He says, Jez, you should remember one thing, age is no barrier,
40:28even for people like you who don't get any.
40:30Terry is on the Jeremy Clarke Show, that way.
40:32CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
40:41You've got quite a firm grip, haven't you?
40:43That's Anne taking me to the gym every day.
40:45How are you, pal? I'm good.
40:47It is a bit of a thing to go from being a primary school teacher
40:51in an A-line skirt and a pair of sensible shoes
40:53to being a kinky glamour model at 64.
40:56Yeah, yeah, it was good transformation.
40:59CHEERING
41:01Is that a granny? That is.
41:03Is she a granny? Yes.
41:05I've got a hope left, I'm telling you, things are looking up.
41:08We got any more?
41:10CHEERING
41:12Sorry I'm late for lessons.
41:14LAUGHTER
41:16Anybody, any other...?
41:18CHEERING
41:20Any more?
41:23Oh.
41:25Now, we do have some others, but we can't...
41:28Are you all right for the others to be shown? Yeah.
41:31We can't show the people at home, but apparently...
41:35..we can show you. Have a look.
41:37CHEERING
41:40WHISTLE BLOWS
41:45I can describe what I'm seeing.
41:48Granny is sat on the bed in a pair of gloves eating a banana
41:52and her husband's just said,
41:54that's one of her five a day.
41:56CHEERING
42:04I can describe what they're looking at.
42:06Granny in a bask has dropped something over the back of the sofa.
42:12Any others?
42:15CHEERING
42:17She had a boob job. Yes.
42:19Jeez, it's non-stop, innit? Enough.
42:23On a serious note, a lot of people would find that quite shocking,
42:28but why should they? Age is no barrier, right?
42:31It's correct. Yeah, it's not a barrier.
42:33Why would people be more shocked that a 64-year-old woman
42:37enjoys sex, wearing stuff, looking like that,
42:41but it's all right at 34, 24 and 44?
42:45Well, I think you're supposed to grow old graciously, aren't you?
42:48Retire into the background. Is she growing old disgracefully?
42:51She's enjoying it as well.
42:53CHEERING
42:56And what about friends and family?
43:00What do friends and family say?
43:02Annie's always been a bit of a character
43:05and they just say, oh, that's Annie.
43:09Is there any part of it that makes you feel uncomfortable?
43:14No.
43:15Is there any part of it that makes you sometimes stop and think,
43:19I mean, how far could she go?
43:22Annie makes that decision.
43:24She will only go as far as she feels comfortable.
43:27Are you all right with that? You trust her judgment?
43:30Yes.
43:31If you didn't like any of this, down which path it leads, whatever,
43:36would you say so?
43:38Or do you love her that much you go along with it?
43:40Or would you say, hold on a second, I don't want this,
43:42I don't agree with this?
43:43No, it's a two-way thing with us.
43:46We talk about everything.
43:49We discuss it.
43:51And if I ever said to her, I don't want you to do it anymore,
43:54she'd give it up tomorrow.
43:55Where will it end for her?
43:59I don't know.
44:0164, though.
44:02Look, there's a woman in the audience going...
44:05So there she is, she's a glamour girl.
44:07You paid for her first shoot.
44:09And seeing her pose naked in front of a camera
44:11is a massive turn-on for you.
44:14We were sitting there one night watching the TV
44:16and an advert came on for a well-known department store
44:19and she looked at the woman who was advertising the clothing
44:22and said, I could do that.
44:24I said, well, why don't you then?
44:26I arranged a photo shoot for her,
44:28which she was nervous about but she loved it.
44:31It was fully clothed and all that.
44:34And after that I signed her up to a couple of modelling portfolio
44:37hosting sites for photographers to see the original pictures.
44:41And she's getting lots of work.
44:42And she's getting work from that, yeah.
44:44Do you know what? Fair play to you.
44:45Right, now, this woman...
44:46Both of you have instantly, in five minutes,
44:48changed my entire view of my life,
44:50which I thought I was slipping down the slippery slope of never...
44:5351, I'm positively young compared to Annie,
44:55but listen, give it up, 64-year-old Annie,
44:57the glamour model!
44:58CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
45:11Hi, Granny.
45:13Bloody hell, woman, you look great.
45:15Nice to meet you. How are you?
45:17I'm good, thank you.
45:18So how do you go from being a primary school teacher
45:21to this quite seriously?
45:24I think you'd possibly be quite surprised
45:27at what some primary school teachers get up to in their time off.
45:32But, no, I think that's possibly a bit of a jump.
45:34It's just...
45:35It's a bit of a jump.
45:37I've always been an exhibitionist and I like what I've got now.
45:41CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
45:46I think I quite like what you've got now, too.
45:49Very glad to hear that, actually.
45:51All right, don't start now, your husband's here.
45:53You say it's an unusual hobby.
45:55Do you remember the first time you posed, say, naked,
45:58not just fully clothed?
45:59How difficult was that?
46:01I don't know.
46:03I don't know.
46:05After some sort of very minor initial nerves,
46:08because in a photographic situation,
46:11you get to sort of know the photographer anyway beforehand
46:15and you build up a bit of a rapport
46:17and you never sort of go straight in and get your kit off straight away.
46:21So by that time, I would have made a rapport with the photographer
46:26and because I've always been quite happy naked,
46:31then it was just a sort of natural progression, so...
46:34You say that Terry loves that you're a sex symbol.
46:36I love to flirt and he gets a kick from the whole thing.
46:39Yes, I'm afraid I'm a shocking flirt.
46:41You're a what?
46:42I'm a shocking flirt.
46:43Keep it going, it's great.
46:46I love dressing up.
46:48Yes, always have done, from a child.
46:50But, of course, as a child, I wasn't wearing...
46:52And how long does...
46:55Do you have grandchildren?
46:57I don't personally have grandchildren.
46:59None that I know about, anyway.
47:02But, I mean, where does it end?
47:05Just it ends when I've had enough.
47:09I won't ever do anything that I'm not comfortable doing, obviously.
47:13Part of the whole thing is about enjoyment.
47:16Yeah.
47:17So if it stops being enjoyable, then it'll stop.
47:19Well, I'll tell you what, fair play to both of you.
47:22My favourite line is, you know, as he says,
47:24you both want to show people that age isn't a barrier,
47:26it's done wonders for your life, it makes you happy
47:28and I think we all salute you.
47:29It's brilliant, brilliant to meet you.
47:31Go that way.
47:32Thank you, my darling.
47:33Nice to meet you.
47:35All right, we'll go together.
47:36Thank you very much.
47:45I can only say that if that had been my granny,
47:47I'd have been round her house every weekend.
47:49I'm out of time.
47:50If you want to be on this show, you need my help.
47:52Visit the website.
47:53Thanks for watching.
47:54See you soon.
47:55Take care.
47:56I'm off to see Granny.
47:58CHEERING AND APPLAUSE
48:04Tonight on The Kyle Files, Britain's obesity crisis.
48:08We head to the Vegas restaurant,
48:10which encourages its customers to eat calorie-laden food.
48:13I'll have the single bypass burger.
48:169,982 calories.
48:20I discover that closer to home,
48:22Britain is embracing a craze for so-called food challenges.
48:26And the weight-loss surgeons hoping to save the NHS millions.
48:30I used to do cancer surgery.
48:32I reckon I save more lives now.
48:48Hugh Jackman's chatting to Alison Hammond
48:50about playing Wolverine for the final time in Logan.
48:54This morning's next.
