00:00The Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill was held by the Civil Defense today

00:06as a preparation in case an earthquake comes to the country, like the Big One.

00:12The various LGUs and government agencies were involved in the so-called drill.

00:17This is what Joshua Garcia reported.

00:21Civil Defense Administrator Undersecretary Ariele Punguseno gave the importance of Dock Cover and Hold.

00:28Every time a third-quarter nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill is held in Senegal today,

00:33according to Punguseno, it is clear from the opinion of many that it is not effective

00:38because it has been a habit all over the world for a long time, even during times of war and disasters.

01:53So, for the fourth quarter NCED, we are looking at an exercise that will recognize the need for preparedness for a tsunami scenario.

02:07Meanwhile, aside from Barangay Capitolio, Pasig, where the ceremonial pressing of the button for the third quarter nationwide simultaneous earthquake drill started,

02:14local governments like Quezon City, the province of Alaminos Laguna,

02:20several government agencies like People's Television, Apo Production Unit, Printing Press, Philippine Information Agency,
