New plans have been revealed for the redevelopment of a derelict factory site in South Bristol ahead of demolition starting soon. Sovereign Network Group (SNG) wants to knock down the prominent ‘eyesore’ on Bath Road in Brislington to build 91 homes in its place.

00:23The developer's new plan for the site, which is opposite Arnas Court Park,
00:28follows its previous 150-home planning application that was refused in 2021
00:35and then was dismissed on appeal the following year in 2022.
00:40The new scheme will be around 100% affordable, with a mix of social rent and shared ownership,
00:48according to local councillors.
00:51SMG acquired the site in around 2016 and is aiming to submit a planning application in early 2025.
