00:00Alabama plays the game of the week, Saturday night in Tuscaloosa against the Georgia Bulldogs.
00:06Of course, earlier in the week we heard from Kalen DeBoer. Let's hear from Kirby Smart here today.
00:10He says, Scotty, of course, players come to Georgia and to Alabama for games like this,
00:16big primetime matchup. I really look at it like this is a hell of an opportunity
00:21for our kids, our program, national stage. And, you know, we're on the national stage a lot. We've
00:28been in the national stage a lot, especially the last three or four years. So it's the reason kids
00:33want to come to Georgia. They say, I want to play in games like that. You know, most of you game
00:39two weeks ago, Saturday night was our game. It's going to probably be that way this Saturday night.
00:43And when you start looking at it, kids want to have an opportunity to play in those tight games.
00:49And that's, you know, we're going to have more of them after this. So it's a great opportunity
00:54to play in a national stage. And that's what we built our program on is playing tough opponents.
01:03Yeah. I mean, you can't argue with that. And I think they're better. I think they're actually
01:09better than Alabama a little bit. And, you know, I think they got job because they won a game.
01:15They won a game and still dropped because they didn't score enough points.
01:19You know, the people that do these polls, I mean, honestly,
01:22if I could get them together at the 19th hole and show you a picture of the people that do this
01:26voting, I mean, you were thinking it's nerd wallet, the people that do these things, they
01:32should really get, you know, cool people, cool people with drip, you know, people having a few
01:37cocktails instead of these dorks that do the voting and the AP poll. Honestly, it's so embarrassing
01:44that stupid poll every week. Thank God we talk about it, though, so I can make fun of it.
01:47I still think George is better. And, you know, what's weird is I hate him dead. I wish Alabama
01:54would beat him. But then again, I hate them, too. So I will be watching, though. So they got me
01:59right where they want me. They do have you right where you want you on Saturday night. Of course,
02:04top five matchups. Underdogs haven't done well. Home underdogs, 28, 42 and one against the spread
02:10since 1990. In this game, Alabama hasn't been a home dog since 2007, et cetera, et cetera.
