00:00Welcome to Saturday night in Death Valley. It's number 11,
00:07Alabama. It's number 14 LSU. It's a top fifteen tilt in
00:12Death Valley under the lights at night. We know how difficult
00:16a venue is that is for the opposition inside Tiger
00:20Stadium and Mark. This is your de facto elimination game. Both
00:25of these teams already multiple losses this season in
00:29Alabama is a two and a half point road favorite in Baton
00:33Rouge. We did see LSU as a slight home underdog previously
00:38this year against Ole Miss win that game outright. It is a
00:42de facto elimination game. So who keeps their season afloat
00:47after Saturday night? The LSU Tigers. I mean it's a Saturday
00:52night in Baton Rouge. What could go wrong down in Death
00:55Valley for the Alabama Crimson Tide of all things. I mean you
00:58also have LSU coming off a loss last time out to Texas
01:02A&M. So they probably are a little bit hungry for a win
01:05here and need it. I don't 100% know that this is an
01:08elimination game. It feels like it, but there's still a path
01:11for both of these teams. The loser of this to actually still
01:14get in the college football playoff when it's all said and
01:16done. We've seen the committee do quirkier things to say the
01:20least at certain times, but I don't know that Alabama without
01:23a run game to speak of without any level of consistency is
01:27going to be able to handle LSU. These are the spots here
01:30where I kind of trust Brian Kelly as a game caller and a
01:34play caller more than I would Kaelin DeBoer at this point in
01:37time, and we've seen Alabama struggle offensively. So
01:40there's a lot going up against and the last time Nick Saban
01:43went down here two years ago didn't work out well for the
01:46Tide then. I don't think it works out well for the Tide
01:48now.
