00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. promised that the government will continue to improve the economy and tourism in Northern Mindanao.
00:11The President said this at the inauguration of the Gilday Bridge Project in Lanao del Norte and Misamis Occidental.
00:20This is the longest bridge in Mindanao with a length of 3.1 kilometers and connects to Tanggub City, Misamis Occidental and Bayan ng Tubod in Lanao del Norte.
00:33With the help of the project, it is expected that more than two hours of travel from Tanggub to Tubod will be reduced to seven minutes.
00:43It is also expected that the transportation system in the areas will improve and that the delivery of projects and services that will push the economy there will be faster.
00:55The project is included in almost 200 High Impact Priority Infrastructure Flagship Projects under the Build Better More Program that was established through a loan agreement between the Philippines and the Korean Export-Import Bank.
