00:00Last Friday, before the candidature was announced for the election of 2025, Senatorial Slate announced an additional thing.

00:10In a resolution ratified by the Democratic-Filipino Party-Lakas ng Bayan or PDP-Laban in their National Assembly today,

00:20they will allow their members who ran under other parties for the 2025 elections.

00:27Under their bylaws, any party member who uses a Certificate of Nomination of other parties is automatically removed from their party.

00:37One of the PDP-Laban President Many Pacquiao will remember the endorsement of President Bongbong Marcos under the Administration-Senatorial Slate.

00:45This is our National Assembly.

00:47This is required.

00:49Especially during the election time, we need to make adjustments because most likely, our Certificate of Nomination will not be honored by COMELEC because COMELEC is a member of a faction.

01:07So we have to make adjustments here in our Assembly.

01:11Remember, during the last election, the Commission on Elections declared the faction led by former President Rodrigo Duterte as a legitimate PDP-Laban.

01:21The appeal of Campo ni Pimentel was also heard in the Supreme Court, which was also overturned by COMELEC's decision.

01:27The party will still discuss if they will endorse candidates for the 2025 elections.

01:33The party also announced that they will be Senatorial Candidates for the 2025 elections.

01:41The Labor leaders, Sen. Calle Odediguzman and Atty. Renacio Luc Espiritu,

01:45will support labor rights, climate justice, and economic reforms while directly challenging the power of political dynasties, elitist and oligarchs.
