00:00Until now, it seems like a bad omen for the Balisno family of Tondo, Manila.

00:10Six of their family members, including two children and a pregnant woman,

00:17were in the scene of the fire in Barangay 25, Zone 2 in Tondo.

00:23Within 30 minutes, the family members were burned alive.

00:31It hurts. It really hurts.

00:36Not a single child was left behind.

00:42No one was left behind.

00:46I told my children, my grandchildren,

00:48I will be the first one to die, not you.

00:51Why did you come first to me?

00:55In the video captured by the neighbors of the victims,

00:58you can still hear the grandfather's plea to one of the victims.

01:07Behind me now is the house of the Balisno family that was burned.

01:10Here, on the second floor of their house, the fire started.

01:14All six victims were trapped in the third floor.

01:18The youngest of the victims is six months old,

01:21and the other child is only two years old.

01:26The four-month-old child was also burned alive.

01:31My children hugged my grandchildren so that they wouldn't get hurt.

01:39They hugged each other. They hugged each other as a family.

01:43One of my grandchildren also hugged each other,

01:48but they wanted to get out, but they couldn't.

01:53Eleven people were left inside the house,

01:56and the others were fortunate to be saved

01:59because they were able to sleep on the first floor of the house.

02:04Two people were injured in the fire,

02:07as well as one of their children who slept on the fourth floor.

02:14but it exploded from the rooftop.

02:25there were mattresses, curtains, and backpacks

02:29on the second floor where the fire started,

02:33which was the reason for the rapid spread of the fire.

02:38The house and the family were all affected by the fire.
