00:00More than 3,000 farmers in Tarlac were helped by President Ferdinand R. Marquez, Jr.,

00:05whose income increased after the government erased their debts for several years

00:17Carmelita Malyari has been a farmer for more than 4 decades.

00:22She is 67 years old and was born in Concepcion, Tarlac.

00:25This is her source of income since her childhood.

00:29Carmelita inherited her land from her parents.

00:34But for a long time, they were only given the title of land.

00:39And finally, she can say that she owns the land.

00:54Carmelita is one of more than 3,000 agrarian reform beneficiaries in the province of Tarlac

01:00who were awarded the Certificate of Condemnation with Release of Mortgage or COCRUMA

01:05by the Department of Agrarian Reform today

01:08in Eduardo Cuanco Gymnasium, Gomez Street, Poblacion Norte, Paniki, Tarlac.

01:13This is in accordance with Republic Act No. 11953 or the New Agrarian Emancipation Act.

01:19President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was the first to give the title of land to farmers.

01:25One of the biggest and most important achievements as a president

01:35is to fulfill the dream of millions of Filipinos

01:41to have their own land and to be able to pay their debts.

01:47More than 4,000 titles of land were distributed

01:51which comprises more than 4,000 hectares of agricultural land

01:55which is worth more than P100 million.

01:59This is the third time that the Certificate of Condemnation was distributed in Central Luzon.
