00:00The PNP will not allow the investigation of the arrest of a former officer of the PCSO in 2020 to be reopened.

00:10According to the information, former police officers were involved in the arrest.

00:14And Jun Veneracion was arrested.

00:20Even though the murder was recorded on CCTV,

00:22Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office's board secretary, retired General Wesley Barayuga,

00:28was arrested on July 20, 2020.

00:30It seems that the PNP's investigation is no longer valid.

00:33That's why there was a breakthrough in the testimony of the police lieutenant colonel,

00:37Santin Mendoza, in the camera's quad cam last week.

00:41He was accompanied by NAPOLCOM commissioner, Edelberto Leonardo,

00:45accompanied by the former PCSO General Manager, Ruyina Garma.

00:55The PNP chief, Rommel Francisco Marvill, reopened the investigation.

01:11The PNP-CIDG will call for the investigation of the whistleblower, Mendoza,

01:16and his informant, Nelson Mariano, who was also involved in the plan of the murder.

01:22But because of his confession, Mendoza has a possible explanation,

01:25that's why he was dismissed from his position and will be sent to an administrative investigation.

01:29Even so, the police will strictly monitor his security because of the heavy charges.

01:35Col. Hector Grijaldo was also relieved that he was the first to call for the investigation

01:39as the former chief of the Mandaluyong Police where the murder took place.

01:44We will do a backtrack on what happened to this case.

01:48We will look at who investigated this case, whether there was negligence,

01:52especially in the investigation.

01:56Marvill also helped other PNP units in the investigation and hopes for a quick result.
