00:00There is no let-up in the House's Quadcom probe even with the voter registration and the filing of the certificates of candidacy or COC.

00:08What's more, the chair of the Quad Committee assures the inquiry will proceed as things are heating up and new discoveries are uncovered.

00:19The House Quad Committee has assured the public that their hearings will not be affected even with the elections fast approaching.

00:27According to Quadcom lead chair Robert Ace Barbers, in the third or fourth week of October, they will resume their discussions amid the Congressional break.

00:36We will continue because the Quadcom obligation is more important for our countrymen.

00:44We will continue these investigations so that we can make laws that will help our country.

00:53One of the latest developments in the Quadcom hearings is the issue of Kuo allegedly being a Chinese spy.

01:00An international documentary supporting this claim was even shown during the joint panel hearing last Friday.

01:12I'm not a spy, I'm not in the picture, and Your Honor, I'm not the one he's talking about.

01:18Congressman Barbers said even if Kuo denies the allegation, her body language speaks otherwise.

01:25For me, that's the initial reaction of a person who is a Chinese spy.

01:32So it's very clear that she doesn't think that there's such a thing.

01:37I heard that her lawyers said that artificial intelligence is possible.

01:43I don't know. That's why I mentioned earlier that we should conduct a deeper investigation.

01:49As of now, the Quadcom is open to going to Thailand to personally talk to Xie Xie Jiang,

01:55the self-confessed Chinese spy detained abroad who's implicated Kuo on the issue in an interview with the Al Jazeera media company.

02:03We are talking about this because if only to prove a point that Alice Kuo entered the country as a spy,

02:13the government agencies should be more aware of conducting an investigation.

02:22But because of the point that we want to know if this has a basis or whatever,

02:29if the Thai government will allow us, we can look into it.

02:37In a separate interview, Batangas 2nd District Rep. Gervie Luis Truss said there's more to be revealed during their Quadcom hearings,

02:44so the public must stay tuned and keep watching.

02:47The context of extrajudicial killing is very broad.

02:53In the past, we thought it's all about drugs.

02:57Today, it concerns also politics and even competition with certain illegal activities among the competitors like Dharma and Parayuta.

03:11Earlier, members of the Philippine Military Academy Matikas Class of 1983 thanked the Quadcom for their inquiry

03:18which led to the uncovering of the alleged mastermind in the murder case of Dharmista,

03:23retired police general and former PCSO board secretary Wesley Barayuga.

03:27Congressman Barber said they will continue the hearings on the matter until the truth and nothing but the whole truth comes out.

03:35They also welcomed the news of the PNP deciding to revive the investigation on the Barayuga murder case.

03:41Our aim in the Quadcom is, aside from proposing legislative amendments for the work of this Congress in aid of legislation,

03:55one of our aims is to provide recommendations.
