00:00Can you see the fourth seal, he's got an entanglement around his neck, so you can see that there's
00:06a piece of fishing line that's tied around it and that is one of the worst things that
00:11can happen to our seals.
00:12You're going to distract the seal and I'm going to sneak up from behind.
00:16Okay.
00:17Okay, we're going to try.
00:18Okay.
00:19Thanks man.
00:20This is so exciting.
00:21Oh, here's another one.
00:40Mr. Steve slowly sneaks up to the seal to try and remove the plastic.
00:48Maybe we'll have better luck with the one we've just seen.
00:53So it's just so frustrating, I mean we're so close, if those seals come back we'll try
01:02them again on the way home.
01:03Yeah, and how soon will it be?
01:04But you can see when they're awake and they're looking at you, they see the blade coming
01:09and they're just like, argh, and they dive away.
01:11Get away from me.
01:12It's so frustrating, you just want to help them because that's just going to end badly
01:16for them.
01:17It's just going to cut into their skin and that's just from plastic, from people throwing
01:20away rubbish in the ocean.
01:23I couldn't help but feel sad about what humans are doing to these amazing creatures.
01:30As we come back into the harbour, the seals are all relaxed again and the one with plastic
01:36is back on the float.
01:37Yeah, we got the plastic off of the seal.
01:51Today we saved a seal, yes!
