00:00The Taal Volcano is still on alert level 1 despite the eruption yesterday.

00:14Audrey, the Taal Volcano did not affect the city of Batangas.

00:20This is one of the places in Batangas that was first affected by the eruption of the Taal Volcano.

00:26A lot of videos were captured of the eruption of the Taal Volcano that was feared by the people.

00:34At 4.21 pm yesterday, the Taal Volcano released steam.

00:38The white smoke came out of its mouth.

00:41Eight minutes later, the stronger eruption was captured in this CCTV footage.

00:46The volcano caused various debris to float in the main crater of the Taal Volcano.

00:51In the thermal camera of the Phibox located in the volcano,

00:54from the Daang Kastila Monitoring Station here in Talisay, Batangas,

00:58you can see the boiling of water in the lower part of the main crater.

01:02It also lasted for four minutes.

01:04The next capture was of the stronger eruption.

01:07The thermal camera of the Phibox was also covered by smoke for three minutes.

01:11A thick layer of smoke was captured by a resident who happened to be next to the lava of the Taal Volcano.

01:17The volcano erupted!

01:19This resident was shocked to see the huge amount of smoke coming out of the Taal Volcano.

01:24The Phibox explained that there was a phreatomagmatic eruption of the Taal Volcano yesterday

01:29or the eruption caused by the contact of water and magma beneath the volcano.

01:33That's why even though the Taal Volcano is still at Alert Level 1, the volcano remains abnormal.

01:38Residents are still hoping for minor ashfall and volcanic gas to be released from the Taal Volcano

01:45like what happened yesterday.

01:46In the last monitoring of the Phibox,

01:48they recorded 1,354 tons of sulfur dioxide emission of the Taal Volcano at the end of September.

01:56Because of this, the entrance to the Taal Volcano Island is guarded

02:00and in its permanent danger zone, especially in the vicinity of the main crater and the Daang Kastila Fissure.

02:07Airplanes are also being avoided that flew above the volcano.
